The perfect place to relax, take in the ocean views, and enjoy a stunning sunset.

I loved the stunning sunset view over the ocean, outdoor dining area that overlooked the water. The beautiful pool, happy and attentive staff. The bathroom in my room was huge and I loved that it was open air. I had a relaxing and wonderful stay at this property. Dian, the owner, went out of her way to collect me from my previous accommodation, and was always happy, smiling and ready to help me with anything I needed. The entire staff were happy and helpful and just lovely.

Gorgeous location, beautiful outdoor area to relax in and spacious rooms. We could sit and watch the sea all day.

The food wasn’t great, there aren’t many restaurants around to eat at either. There are lots of dogs running around which was fine for us but may not be for others. There were a handful of people coming up to us whilst we were sat in the hotel trying to sell day trips and jewellery etc which felt a little uncomfortable.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet this is the place!

Lovely little bungalow, very basic , nice pool set amongst lovely gardens, beautiful friendly staff good choice of food on menu. Bathroom outdoors with a huge duck statue on the wall which was a shower!

The property itself was lovely, very simple on the beach but was way out of the town and not much to do or see there!

A jewel in Lovina

I loved this cosy 8 villa hotel on a quiet peaceful beach. It is the kind of place that forces you to relax. The staff and I mean every single one of them smile and greet you. EKA was exceptional. The villa was clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor sitting area. The open air bathroom was HUGE and super clean. It has a restaurant which gives on to the beach. It also has a nice pool. I would give it a 10+ if I could.

Amazing hospitality, location and small resort experience

Loved this place. Right on the beach with amazing sunsets and not at all windy - could sit out with a cocktail and watch the sun go down. The beach was a local hangout in the evening and local families came and swam so was a nice mix of local and resort. Only 8 villas and we had 3 of them with a family of 5! They were great in securing adjoining rooms for us. Very clean, nice outdoor bathrooms and terraces with view of sea, pool and gardens. Nice how the rooms circled the pool but did not feel intrusive and felt private. Great breakfast included. Staff were lovely and helpful and friendly, including owner who made a real effort to make sure everyone had what they needed. Organised drivers for us for two days - go to Aling Aling and the waterfall jumps/slides, and Sekempul - both amazing. A couple good warungs close by for dinner if you want a break from resort.

Wasn't an issue for us but don't expect much in the close vicinity - we just booked Grabs for short trips into Lovina so not a big issue and resort location and quality was more important to us than being closer to the centre.

Stunning beachfront location, chill vibe, quiet. Small ( only 7 accommodation units) delightful staff. Private outdoor bathroom ( with a few mozzies🙂). Nice pool plenty with sufficient loungers to generally find them in shady spots. Good privacy even sitting outside front of accommodation. Indonesian food options up to standard.

Western style breakfast options very average although did include beautiful fruit salad 🙂.no expresso style coffee, just kopi Bali or Nescafé instant. We carry an aeropress and pods so no big deal.

Gorgeous boutique hotel occupying the best place on the beach

A gorgeous boutique property with incredible views and stunning gardens! The sunsets from the hotel are amazing and we loved our little bungalow. This is a small hotel but that is part of the appeal, the pool is also beautiful and the staff are so lovely. I would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous views from a great hotel

An amazing part of Bali with beautiful sunrise and sun sets, it's position right on the beach gives it an idyllic experience. The bungalows are clean and spacious, comfy beds, food is excellent, staff are really friendly as its a family run hotel, we organised all trips through the hotel which were great. The outside bathroom was a new experience.

This is not a dislike and its nothing to do with the actizl hotel but just to mention that there isnt much else to do around the hotel but we didnt find this an issue at all. Also the beach is only small but the hotel has a fabulous pool

Cozy 3 days

The premises are amazingz, the pool is very nice, the rooms are clean and spacious, the half outdoor bathroom is a highlight. The staff is super nice and provides good service. For a couple holiday it is perfect. If you are solo travelling it might me a bit lonely.

Internet connection could be better, but again when you make a couple holiday it does not matter.

Exceptional

So peaceful, everything anyone could want from a chill seaside break. Not for you if you are looking for disco and bright light. But if you enjoy dinner staring at the sea, singing along to olden oldies, soaking up the sun, swimming in seawater at 26 degree C and pool water at 28 degrees C. This is for you. BUT. a few days are not enough. We stayed for 4 and wish we could have stayed for 10.

Great peaceful location to relax after a day. Having the benefit of looking out to the sea aswell as being able to stroll through a beautiful maintained garden . Rooms spacious with gorgeous outdoor bathroom. Just lovely and to top it all looked after by a Dian and her wonderful staff.

nice but could use improvements

Place is good value for money and being right on the sea makes it very zen and relaxing. we went in the rainy season so had a mixed experience, but did extend twice to explore the area. agree bathroom is really cute with beautiful plants and the shell sink and nice outdoor shower. the terrace restaurant is really nice to eat on by the sea

there are quite a few (important) improvement areas: - the owners are not very involved or engaging customers (until you leave and have to pay). especially the male owner, he is a bit grumpy to see around all day laying on a couch on his phone, even the staff can’t be relaxed around him. if you’re not going to be hands on and nice as a manager, it would be nicer to stay off grounds - reception/ restaurant staff smells really badly of body odour. they use cheap parfume to cover it but it doesn’t help. they should shower and use roll on deodorant to help with sweat - bed wasn’t so comfy and pillow too tall and hard, probably the worst we slept in 2 months in Bali - bed should have a cover / blanket besides the bedsheet - they should provide water for refill. there’s small bottled water in the room, but we didn’t want the plastic and just to refill out bottles, had to ask the staff every time to fill up with filtered water from the kitchen which is annoying and wastes their time. probably the only place in Bali we didn’t have this if not in the room at least in the common area - food is too overpriced and not that fresh, everywhere we went for food at the neighbouring hotels or warungs had nicer and cheaper food - internet in the room is non existent. if you need to do even email and internet browsing you have to go the restaurant area. which is really not great if you have any work calls especially video calls as there might be guests or noise and bad lighting in the restaurant area. there’s basically almost at all times people working on their laptops in the common area as there’s so many digital nomads in Bali which can take away from the experience if you’re there for holiday - didn’t warn us we might not see dolphins on the dolphin tour which was annoying to wake up at 5am for, go at sea for 3 hours in the cold, luckily some snorkelling saved the day - didn’t warn us asking for more coffee at breakfast cost extra.
