Best place in the area. Rooms a bit dates (renovation is planned, we learned). Restaurant is great and very good choice an quality. Breakfast was a bit simple and not in line with the quality standards of 4/5 star hotel... but not a major issue as well.

We went to Puri Bagus Lovina with our three little Kids and only stayed for one night as we wanted to see the dolphins. The Hotel is located a bit far away from the actual dolphin spotting, but we can recommend it overall. If you have car we recommend to drive down to the beach where you only have a 10 min boat ride instead of 1 hour. The furniture is already a little old and a bit old-fashioned, but it is OK for its Age. Food was OK, just stick with Balinese cuisine.

This is an amazing hotel. You feel like you are in paradise. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The food is good and the rooms are amazingly clean and comfortable. The hotel has amazing settings! If you stay there you would love this hotel!

The hotel location is very beautiful, the sourrandings are lovely , the beach is very close and the pool was great.The location of the hotel suited us , but is not for people who are looking night life as the hotel is 4km from centre of Lovina where the all shopes , activities and bars are. The brekfast is nice but quite boring , as every day we got thesame kind of fruits and fruits juices. The service at the breakfast is not great I must say,. On several ocassion we had to wait for the clean glasses , fruits and other foods being top up . It took staff very long time to do things when asked, 10 minutes to bring the clean glasses so we can have a juice. For that kind of hotel this is unacceptable.

North Bali is somehow far from airport - about 4 hours diving. It is recommended to book the drive with the hotel in advance - airport cabs will charge double. Winter season is not the best for this side of the island - high sea with strong currents will not allow too many nautic adventures. Hotel is not offering a real beach but you can wet your feets. Restaurant is rather poor and not very cheap. Neighborhood is not very encouraging for walking - village street fool of motors and no walkways might be dangerous. Not so many close destinations. People atitude might invite the women to dress more sober avoiding to be the center of local men attention. Popular places are far - 2 - 4 hours driving A long stay cannot be recommended - maximum 4 days

Rooms are huge. Bungalows by the beach are nice way to spend the day or a couple of hours. Food is decent. Better to eat elsewhere. Great spa!

This wonderfully located hotel will provide anyone looking for a peaceful retreat next to the ocean with an ideal and good value holiday. The accommodation is in individual small villas which have verandas which look out to the sea. The hotel swimming pool is separated from the black sand beach by a couple of metres of grass and flowerbeds. The entrance to the hotel is amongst typical Balinese rice paddies with views up to the hills beyond and provides a delightful contrast to the views of the ocean. There is also a spa which like everything else here is located next to the beach. The only slightly negative note is the quality of the food however there are two very good restaurants just outside the hotel and plenty more choice a short way down the coast. Also it is quite a long way from the airport you should allow at least 3 hours to travel to or from Denpasar . Lying amidst the palm trees watching the coming and goings of the local fishermen with the sound of gamelan music drifting through the air whilst sipping cocktails boarders on the heavenly. This is not really a place if you are looking for late night bars and partying but for a relaxing and peaceful beach holiday would be hard to beat.
