The Grand Villandra Resort Lovina

My room was spacious and clean the terrace as well. Huge bathroom. The bed was big and very good to sleep in. The staff was kind and considerate, very charming and helpful. Pools were fantastic, beautiful gardens a well equipped spacious gym, everything always clean and tidy. Food in the restaurant, the Indonesian food in particular, was very good.. breakfast was above all expectations, delicious, varied and there was everything you wish for. I had a great experience and a pleasant stay.

Distance to closest ATM. Hawkers on the beach - I never liked the beach people hanging around a d keeping an eye on one. Chinese people spitting in the pool- it has nothing to do with you, but it was annoying.

The main walk way from reception to the restaurant and beach was lovely, very atmospheric at night

A quick glance over the room looked fine but a closer look was a different story…The room was dated with damp patches on most of the walls. The room had had some maintenance done but the workman hadn’t cleaned up after and there was paint/ filler residue all over. The pool was a decent size but again needed a good clean. There was a fridge outside but no glasses to have a drink, just mugs for coffee or tea. The breakfast was appalling, we didn’t bother with it in the end. I would be ashamed to serve it. The food overall was quite bad, and as we were a ride away from central Lovina, you would think they could do better.
