Lake is calm and great to kayak on.
House is spacious, we had 16 family members and did not feel uncomfortable.
Bugs were not biting during our stay at the end of May.
Backyard has a nice mix of heavy trees and open area. A good variety of birds were prevalent. Deer sometimes wander through the yard, a plus for our family.
Downside is you can hear, in the background noise, the interstate car/truck/motorcycle traffic. To be fair I I was the only one who said anything out of our family of 16.
Considering the expensive cleaning fee, was disappointed to have found a ton of small dead gnats attached to the dining room bulbs above the table and a small piece of glass on kitchen floor under a rolling work surface. I cleaned the bulbs and floor, contacted the property manager who quickly assured that they would address the issue with the cleaning service.
Good array of outdoor activities near this property. Recommend going to Bushkill falls, worth the price to see the variety of waterfalls.
Many stores accessible in a short distance.
Like many Pocono neighborhoods, the neighborhood is a bit old and slightly run down but with that being said the neighborhood is quiet and the neighborhoods are respectful. Not a bad neighborhood but also not one where if you pay $1000+ a night you are saying wow, so worth it. Went during a holiday weekend and to find a lake house to fits 16 family members is tough so didn’t mind much paying the premium for this property.
