Good location friendly host

The shared bathroom was 1 floor down so difficult when you want the toilet in the night . There was no hot water just luke warm . The bedroom walls were very thin so was woken at night and early in morning by my neighbours.

The rooms were tiny with single beds and and not enough room for a grown adult

Stayed before so knew the location was great, only 15-20 mins walk to centre and on the bus route too with a lovely pub and The Plantation gardens nearby. Grrat value for money, very clean, spacious room, bathroom and kitchen/communal areas. And lovely to have a bath!!

Although lovely, it does have the feel of being furnished by and for men but have to say 2 hangars and a bathmat have been provided since my last visit and feedback. But no Hairdryer and, didn't need it on this stay, but didn't see an iron either. Would be good to have these provided in a kitchen cupboard maybe for use of all guests if owners reluctant to put in every room.

Easy to locate and access into the property. Everything was lovely and clean, like home from home.

It was easy to reach the city centre by bus . The room was very spacious and the bed fairly comfortable.Hard to be sure at present as I am not long after a hip replacement operation. It was clean.The kitchen was useful. Although I don't cook often.I enjoyed a local take away on the table in the kitchen.Thai and Chinese in my two night stay both a short walk away. There was also a corner shop about a hundred yards from the front of the house. The city is well worth exploring. My own feeling was it was excellent for a single traveler like myself on this occasion.If I was traveling with the wife I would probably pay a bit more and get on suite facilities.This could be upgraded to that in time as there was plenty of space within my room 2 on the ground floor. But then you would be paying more which might price it out of budget for some people. The front door code lock worked really well. Would use it again if I was staying by myself in the city.

The washroom facilities although of course I knew about that at the time of booking.Not sure all would be happy to walk through the kitchen past people eating or upstairs to the washroom. I found the bedroom door lock room 2 temperamental .

Never stayed in a place like this as a guest, only as a student in digs so it bought back memories. Not clear on booking.com website how it was set up like student accommodation.

The guesthouse was beautiful, bright and clean with recently laid soft carpets… the room was lovely, clean, spacious with a comfortable bed and the en-suite was nice too.

Nothing about the property was negative- the only “negative” was the other guests who were quite loud, slamming doors until 2am & at one point having a little bit of a barney with one another, but this was beyond the owners control. It didn’t really affect our stay- my partner slept through it all! 😅

Room was larger than I expected, bed was super comfy and the shower was excellent. It was easy to check in and out too

Hairs on the bed linen (multiple, although only attached one picture) There was a mattress behind the bed There was no lightbulb in the bedside light Room is a bit shabby with scuff marks and cracks galore in the ceiling

When I turnt up there was people that looked like they lived there in the property there was no kettle in the room no tv nothinking just a rock solid bed and that's it I did even sleep there slept at a friend's house instead and then they have the cheek after you pay for £50 damage fees there's nothink to damage ????

The hole experience?? It's house let that there using as a hotel ad well not a great experience at all for the price I paid joke !!

Price and communication when needing assistance with access.

There was no toilet paper supplied. There is limited parking for a multi occupancy accommodation.

Nothing, was perfect and would recommend and use again.

The location was perfect for my needs, the room was big, clean, warm and comfortable. No en-suite but toilet/wash rooms on 2 floors. A shared kitchen with drinks making facilities. Due to the very reasonable price I wasn’t sure what to expect, I was very pleasantly impressed. I’ll definitely book next time I visit Norwich

I can’t think of anything

This was a comfortable stay just 10 minutes walk from the heart of the city. Many lovely pubs and restaurants within walking distance and the house is well appointed and clean. Martin and Lukie do an excellent job making great places to stay.

I have stayed a few times and I can sincerely say it’s always been a smooth and easy process coupled with excellent customer care. I’ve never had any issues but, when I do need any assistance the hosts are sure to help very quickly. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs somewhere comfortable and well located in Norwich.

In all honesty there isn’t much to critique

The house was spacious and clean and the other guests were friendly and the location was quiet and peaceful.

I arrived on Friday 2nd of August and I remained there until my departure date on 9th of August 2024 so I was exhausted on my arrival so I decided to just rest and go out and venture the area on next day, it was the second night of my stay there was a group of guests who kept me awake until 5 am they had continued their session from club to the house, I discovered that there was also disrespect to the rules regarding alcohol and smoking in the house, I was under the impression that house rules was no parties , no alcohol and no smoking what is point in having house policies and rules if they are just ignored. I believed that there would be room service (e.g). Cleaning and bed linen change, for the duration i had stayed there my room had not been serviced or had linen change done, I also expected or half expected to find or have a TV in my room as in most guest houses this comes as standard but the house lacked this one amenity, curtains on front window are perfectly fine but blinds are disappointing as not been able to open curtains and retain privacy in the room from public street was disappointing, may i suggest that house management might consider adding net curtains on the window in the room i was in so that the main curtains can be opened and natural daylight could be let into the room, because it can be extremely dark room during the day with out lights been turned on, the house did not have laundry facilities so guest could not wash or dry clothes, and also lack of dinner plates having one dinner plate between 6 guest rooms in one house can prove very awkward and distressing. Would I stay at the house again I definitely would.

I initially booked just a basic room when I booked through Booking.com but realised the room didn’t have a bathroom so I was able to upgrade to one that did (room 5) . However when I arrived at the property we had been allocated room 1 which didn’t have its own bathroom so I rang the owner who rectified the problem within minutes. It was a lovely room overlooking the street with a lovely bathroom. Would definitely recommend this property if you want a cheaper option to spend the night in Norwich. The bed was very comfortable which isn’t always the case in lots of properties.

The triangle house was clean.quite.safe.and near where we wanted to go.

Know where to put your clothes.but for two nights you can manage out of your suitcase.

Lovely room, very clean

One shared shower not enough for 7 rooms. Too far away from top floor rooms. During my stay there were blokes (builders?) who were wandering around in their Y-fronts late at night which was weird. The fact that no staff were on the property made me feel a bit uneasy in the circumstances

Large rooms, all very new and well kept. Kitchen has everything you need and plenty of space. 2 bathrooms so never an issue about needing to go and being unable. Doors are all PIN coded so there’s no need for keys or shared information. Owners are absolutely lovely people and always willing to help. Plenty of small shops nearby, even more options for public transport in to the city.

Absolutely stunning home, a lot of money and style went in to creating it. Beautiful. Kitchen was very functional. Room was large and gorgeous windows. And clean carpets.

A notice warning of wearing socks on wooden floors, ok if you a champion skater lol. Rooms were lovely, stunning place, but my god that bed was squeaky, moved a lot and the mattress was hollow I swear, was like a bouncy castle. Pillows, I’ve seen sandwiches fatter. Shame as the owner have done amazing, beautiful decor and clean. But beds, nope! Sorry. Also room above had two loud men in there and I didn’t sleep much, nothing to do with owners at all. Never know who you’ll get.

My hosts were very friendly and helpful. The townhouse is immaculate: spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, with a very comfy bed and - peaceful nights! I loved my stay here and was sad to leave. I will always stay here when in Norwich again.

Nothing to dislike.
