Ich komme wieder.

Die Atmosphäre des Außenbereichs ist mit Liebe zur Flora erfüllt. Der Gastgeber und Team sind stets um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht, und zauberten an 5 von 7 Tagen üppige kulinarische Gerichte nach Wunsch der Gäste. Man merkt, dass dies ein Familienbetrieb ist.

Cool vibes and good kitchen facilities.

Lots of plants around the property created a lovely feeling to the hostel and the staff were all very helpful. Kitchen was great to have.

Didn’t have air conditioning or a fan like it was supposed to, not close walking distance to many things.

It took me 35 minutes by bus on average to get to the centre and also i couldn’t cook in the place because the stove didn’t work properly.

El jardin es precioso y esta fresco todo el dia por mucho calor que haga. Ademas los anfitriones te ayudan con lo que necesites y se respira un ambiente super tranquilo. Yo vine solo y al segundo dia ya me sentia como en casa, es un pequeño paraiso.

The place is between Golden sands and Varna. With very helpful host, explain all about the area, transport links, access to the beach, shops and attractions. Nice, peaceful place with many different varieties of plants, for good relax. All necessary ametiest....? Good internet connection. The beaches are nice, the sea water - clean!

Need from more handles in the bathroom and place for the bath staff. Stronger lights in the rooms, new sheets and towels. Washing machine! Too much notices everywhere for all ( on paper) ( the people have to use their brains without notices) 😉😀

Not worth the money

The hostel is in a quiet area, the plants everywhere give it a lovely vibe. the owner is nice and tried to help navigating around. The next beach is 15 minutes away, you can reach a lovely calm beach within 30 minutes walking. Stores and a few restaurants are close.

The place is old and didn't seem to be well maintained. It looked like it was completely run by volunteers. There are a few wifi networks, the coverage was still not so great. The kitchen is small and offered the basics. It had a few electric cookers, but not all of them were working. The ovens and water kettle looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. I booked a private room with a shared bathroom. It was a small, very basic room with a fan. The beds were horrible. The mattress was so laid-through that sleeping on the floor would be more comfortable. The sheets seemed to be clean, the floor wasn't... The bathroom's door only closed when locked, and sometimes the key got stuck while locking it, so you're basically trapped in the bathroom until you can un-stuck the key again. The shower had water, but the temperature and water pressure weren't steady. It's been a surprise every time. Overall cleanliness seemed questionable, but I can't tell if that was because of other guests. Maybe all of this would be okay when it would be cheaper, but it's totally overpriced for what you get. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Peaceful, calming and a memorial experience.

This hostel is a special place for me, it was my second visit and it was better than the first. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for me elwith transport via bus. I highly recommend experiencing "hostel botanico"

Great host and value for money, rooms are clean, outdoor area. Needs some refurbishing though!

The host (owner) was super friendly, reliable and speaks multiple languages. The property is quite big and has a nice garden with an outdoor summer kitchen/grill and seating area. Lockers are available and there was also enough storage space in the rooms, linen was clean and the wondow thankfully had a bug net. A lot of power outlets in the womens room where I stayed. Apart from the outdoor area, there is a rooftop terrace (where laundry is put), but there are some sun beds and a lovely veiew towards the sea. In the evening the guests hand out by the grill area (when I satyed the owner had joined them and they had a grill party), but it seems like they do value quite hours, as the gathering ceased before midnight.

The place seemed a bit ran down given the "superb" rating of the property. The house is a bit old, which isn't an issue on its own and although the room and the bathroom were clean a lot of the ameneties and appliances are outdated or just quite old (like the sofas, an old coin coffee machine, etc.). Some refurbishing needs to be done for the property to actually meet the current superb rating. However, I had no issues whatsoever and I need to point out that I stayed at the hostel in the very beginning of the season, so I guess things could be a bit different when the season actually hits (the owner was actively working on fixing stuff). The location is nice (10 min away by car from Varna city center), but a bit difficult to access, since the streets that lead to the hostel are rather bumpy gravel roads than actual streets.

Best Hostel in Varna

Das Hostel ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp, wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort wie zuhause. Der Besitzer ist ein erstklassiger Koch und manchmal gibt es Grill Abende. Die Zimmer sind sauber und bieten alles was man braucht. Das Hostel hat eine tolle Lage etwas abseits der Touristengegend und bietet mit seiner Nähe zum Strand die perfekte Basis um Varna und die umliegenden Strände zu erkunden. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Hostel Varna Botanika! Danke George!
