A beautifully maintained hotel in wonderful surroundings

It was hard to fault the hotel on any point. Everything was spick and span, the room was very comfortable, and the staff were very ready to help. One had to order one's breakfast - in other words, it wasn't a buffet - but there was plenty of choice, and the quality of the food was high. What's more, we were in Istán in the depths of winter, and we had the (well-maintained) spa entirely to ourselves. Add to that the stunning natural surroundings, and you have a really delightful stay!

One our second morning, most of the guests seemed to arrive for breakfast at approximately the same time, which the staff found challenging. However, they managed the situation very well, I thought.

Everything was comfortable and clean. Plenty of space in the room. Dinner was delicious.

Breakfast was slow and not the best quality- very different quality of food than dinner. There was a strange smell coming from the drains.

Lovely, calm and relaxing location. Super clean room. Gorgeous views and close to a fab local restaurant - Raices.

Breakfast service was really lacking. Very limited options. Jacuzzi was cold and the pool itself wasn't super clean which was a shame.

Exceptional Istan!

We have had an exceptional time at this hotel. The host were the best we have come across. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. The hotel is perched on top of the village, close to walks across the sierras, 5' down to the village with a very good choice of restaurants. Breakfast and dinners were excellent. The swimming pool and sauna were very excellent and the recliners made you feel like you were floating in space. . The decor of the hotel is great and all very comfortable. Rooms are spacious, clean, bright. Best nights for a long time. If you are after a relaxing and rejuvenating week end break, this is the place!

Hyvä kokemus pienessä idyllisessä hotellissa.

Asiakaspalvelu oli erinomaista, meidät otettiin avosylin vastaan. Tilava ilmainen pysäköinti hotellin vieressä. SPA:n käyttö ja sauna kuului huoneen hintaa. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja se tarjoiltiin osittain henkilökunnan toimesta mm kahvi munakas jne. Huone oli siisti ja sen kruunasi kaunis vuoristo näkymä parvekkeen kera. Hotelli on kodikas ja kyllä siellä olisi viihtynyt pidempäänkin, nyt olimme yhden yön ohikulkumatkalla. Se on myös plussaa että maksu tapahtuu hotellissa, ja että ennen tuloa kysymyksiini vastattiin nopeasti ja selkeän asiallisesti. Niin ja huone toivomus ylimmästä kerroksesta huomioitiin kuten oli ennakkoon luvattu.

Tähän aikaan vuodesta Marras -joulukuun vaihteessa oli rauhallista, mutta siitä huolimatta äänet kuului huoneeseen ja aula joka oli kaunis on kaikuva. Spassa ei ollut pukuhuoneita, vain miesten ja naisten wc:t suihkuineen, tällä kertaa kävi tuuri kun olimme ainoat asiakkaat spassa sillä hetkellä, mutta sesonkiaikaan saattaa olla hankalampaa.

Un hotel rural precioso, con todas las comodidades y las mejores vistas de Istán y la sierra

Es el segundo aniversario de bodas que celebramos en este hotel. El personal es súper amable, (gracias Rubén) y en ambos aniversarios nos obsequiaron con una botella de champán. El hotel es muy coqueto, muy confortable, muy bien decorado, en una ubicación excelente, sin problemas de parking. Repetiremos.

El desayuno, incluído, aunque no estaba mal, podría mejorar. El agua de la piscina del spa estaba templada para Noviembre.

Un sitio para desconectar

La ubicación nos gustó mucho. Un pueblo pequeño y tranquilo, rodeado de naturaleza. Si vienes aquí es para desconectar y disfrutar de este rincón alejado del estrés del día a día.

Si querías comprar algo en el bar del hotel, es algo caro. Por ejemplo, pedimos una botella de agua de 1'5 litros para tener en la habitación y nos costó 4€. Nos dimos cuenta al bajar al pueblo que está lleno de fuentes donde poder coger agua natural.

Desde que llegas y darte la sensación de que estaban esperándote con las puertas abiertas de su casa ofreciendo agua fresquita te das cuenta de que vas a estar en un sitio acogedor y si sumas que el personal es de lo más amable y profesional que pueda haber ya te hacen pensar en qué vas a estar en alojamiento que tiene todo hecho para que descansemos. Las instalaciones de 10, la comida espectacular y el trato humano insuperable. Lo único que creo que es de menos es que, lamentablemente hay cobertura del móvil. Sin dudarlo lo recomendamos y empezaremos a contar los días que falten para volver.

Relax en Altos de Istan

Me encanta el spa, la terraza con vistas a la montaña, el área de solárium, la música suave, el pueblo y su cercanía, las caidas de agua a escasos metros. La amabilidad de los empleados.

No me gustó que lo que incluia el desayuno veces anteriores, sin ninguna explicación, está vez era con costo adicional. Y esta vez la tarifa era más alta.

Prachtig hotel, maar niet de rust gevonden die we hoopten te vinden.

Mooi hotel, prachtige ligging, veel faciliteiten. Gezellig terras. Goede kamer. Enkele personeelsleden deden hun best. Goede uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en bezoek aan het dorpje. Verfrissend bron op wandelafstand.

Doordat we precies als enige in het hotel verbleven, was de service en vooral het ontbijt ondermaats voor een 4*hotel. Bij de incheck moest ik zelf vragen naar waar alles was, en de vrouw in kwestie sprak alleen Spaans. We kregen geen buffet maar gewoon een koffie/thee, wat afbakbroodjes en schoteltje kaas/ham, wat potjes confituur en wat fruit. Het avondeten was ook bedroevend, van de 7 hoofdgerechten waren er maar 4 beschikbaar. Mijn zalm proefde bovendien ook niet vers. De trappenhal lag vol dode vliegen, dit was na 2d wel gekuist maar als eerste indruk niet echt optimaal. Ze waren ook 2 kamers grenzend aan het terras aan het renoveren met drilboren en andere storende geluiden met ramen open waardoor de rust op het terras met momenten ver te zoeken was. Op andere momenten was het personeel luid aan het bellen en zaten er regelmatig honden lawaai te maken op het terras. Op papier dus prachtig verblijf, maar wij hadden echt pech met de situatie en houden er een minder fijn gevoel aan over. Vooral de beloofde rust waar het hotel garant voor stond in hun beschrijving, liet te wensen over.

Lugar ideal para desconectar

Ya estuvimos el año pasado, también por mayo, e intentaremos venir más a menudo. Es un lugar ideal para desconectar , estar en contacto con la naturaleza y descansar. Todo está hecho con mucho gusto, al detalle, las instalaciones (especialmente el jacuzzy) están genial, el desayuno de calidad y el staff es muy agradable y servicial. Puedes hacer rutas desde el mismo hotel o ir al pueblo dando un paseo.

El hotel tiene una decoración vanguardista. Los colores y detalles de esculturas en madera, murales, cuadros componen un espacio con estilo y muy acogedor. El personal sumamente amable, educado y cordial. El spa perfecto,con vistas hacia la naturaleza, la montaña y las flores del campo. El sauna en su temperatura perfecta. Un lugar para volver y seguir disfrutando.
