A lovely, friendly boutique hotel with great staff.

Lovely location in a pretty village close to the coast and mountains. Great stop off on our way back to Malaga airport from the Cadiz region. Lovely breakfast including homemade breads and preserves served at the table by very attentive staff.

We did hear a mouse at night in the bathroom area which was probably under the floorboards? but not too much of an issue as we live in an old house in the country and have experienced them ourselves.

Everything - the lovely atmosphere, the gorgeous breakfast, the ambiance of the room, but most of all - the exceptional kindness and helpfulness of the staff. They were such sweethearts and went above and beyond to ensure that my pregnant girlfriend and I feel happy and taken care of. Especially Raquel with her radiant smile was such a pleasure to talk to any time - she made sure our stay was exceptional and we can't thank her enough!

Everything we had hoped for and more.

The warmest of welcomes on arrival and kindness shown when we had to leave early so a packed lunch was provided. I loved the stunning internal and external areas and the Moorish decor and comfort of my room and terrace. The breakfast was superb, healthy, delicious and leisurely. The honesty bar made for an informal and relaxed atmosphere and the well kept pool allowed you to cool down on hot days. You’re in the heart of the beautiful village of Ojén with all village amenities but in an ideal area for exploring. The staff are the friendliest people you could ever meet. We loved our stay.

Excellent hotel could not fault it Friendly people all very helpful Rooms was clean and had everything you would need Breakfast is excellent nothing too much trouble! All fresh and made to order Right in middle of town Which is so pretty church Bells ring every hour was lovely Pool area is clean Good place to stay if you don’t want to be right in middle of Marbella Which is a 10 min drive away Staff was so helpful We have stayed at 4 Hotels on this trip but this one really stood out to be the Best Paella night should not be missed was amazing

A wonderful stay in a beautiful, quaint Spanish village and characterful property.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. The room and facilities provided were exactly what we expected, being clean, comfortable and characterful. The hosts and staff were brilliant - they were friendly and accommodating and prepared us a takeaway breakfast when we left early for our flight home. The breakfasts themselves were exceptional - a feast every morning and something we looked forward to. The AC and pool were much needed to help us with the heat in the mountains.

Unbeatable boutique experience with family made service excellence.

This was truly excepcional start of our Spain trip! From greetings to every attentional to detail - this small boutique hotel gives more than one can ever imagine. Loved recommendations of the owners for places to visit, a feeling of a friends you come to visit again. Even the homemade yoghurt and speciality smoothies served by the owners daughter in the morning was a top notch service with authenticity squeezing from every bit under the lemon tree in their garden. Pool, honesty bar full with books and a patio to talk at night was an additional love as well as the white town in the mountains itself, but the Service and the attitude was the absolute best that we got in all of our Spain Trip. Unbeatable excellence.

(Puts “not a bit” in writing) Our fault - we could not make it to Alex recommended six course dinner, as we squeezed to many activities in our day going to Caminito del ray, Ronda and Setenil de las Botegas (as we chose this hotel to be closer to those parts). Won’t ever let that dinner slip again, as we came back and the event was still going and we got a compliment - the special desert.

A hidden gem of Marbella!

Lovely little quaint hotel, the traditional nature and layout gave it a truly spanish feel and not another tourist processing plant! The staff were happy and friendly, and despite a short wait for the room to be cleaned when we did get in it was clean and well equipped. The small pool facility was excellent - just perfect to cool off in! The self service bar was ideal, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was outstanding. All in all the owners gave you a really welcoming and personal vibe, and made our whole stay enjoyable. Would love to return one day!

The hotel building and the way it is laid out and furnished is beautiful. The courtyard & the pool area were particularly nice places to sit & relax with a drink from the excellent & fairly priced honesty bar. La Posada de Angel is a gem, in a lovely little village, with exceptional staff.

A lovely inn built around a traditional courtyard full of flowers and plants. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast served on the patio included fresh fruit and breads, homemade jams, and eggs made to order. Several nice restaurants around the corner on the plaza. The owner prepared an exceptional dinner one night. Good hiking in the area. The staff was wonderful in every way!

Absolutely brilliant, from start to finish (we just wished we could have stayed longer)

What a fantastic place. Great location (don't worry about parking down the hill, they'll come and pick you and your luggage up in the buggy :) - The staff are brilliant, Rachel is an absolute star (and makes the best marmalade you'll ever taste). As for breakfast, it was just the best. We'll definitely be back!

We couldn't fault a thing, it was all absolutely spot on. We didn't try the pool but it looked exceptional as well. Nothing to not like here :)
