Your cozy getaway awaits at this amazing log cabin just 12 miles north of Newberry and 10 miles west of Tahquamenon Falls. Nestled back in the woods a peaceful setting on 20 acres and fully off the grid this superb property offers a tranquil escape for guests. Even though it is fully off grid it does have solar power with auto backup generator and is located on a paved road for easy access. 3 queen beds in the 2 bedrooms, it provides a comfortable space for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is stocked with all your basic needs including fridge, stove, coffee maker, microwave, and utensils. The bathroom features an indoor shower, toilet, and sink. Whether you're seeking a weekend retreat or a longer vacation, this cabin is the perfect choice. Immerse yourself in the serene surroundings and create lasting memories. Close to ORV trails, Crisp point lighthouse, Whitefish point, shipwreck museum, two hearted river. This is a great central location for all your upper peninsula excursions. Cell service is very limited but does have starlink internet for Wi-Fi calling and streaming. Internet in the U.P. Can be spotty at times but works most of time.
Security camera on entry points outside facing driveway.

Super clean, cute cabin. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Host was quick to respond when we had trouble starting heater; issue was resolved with his call. Loved the location! Perfect for visiting Taquamenon Falls, Oswald’s Bear Ranch and our new favorite MI Dogs which is only a mile away! Only word of caution, mosquitoes were thick and wicked. Even with spray we weren’t able to enjoy sitting outside; but that’s common in the UP. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful home base for all of the adventures the UP has to offer. The cabin was very clean and VERY well appointed. It was everything we hoped it would be. We enjoyed the peace and quiet very much. We will be back in the future!

Our family loved this cabin and the location. The cabin was in perfect condition, there were games and coloring books for our young kids, the property was extremely peaceful- just wish we had more time to spend there. Highly recommend this rental! *We were a little concerned about the driveway when the rain hit but the minivan pushed through.
