Lake Muskallonge is a short walk from the property and boasts terrific inland fishing, boating and much more! Grand Marais, MI is a short drive 18 miles west and is the eastern Gateway to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The North Country Trail is accessible from the beach for endless miles of hiking or go fishing in the famous Two Hearted River. Trail maps are available in the house or download AllTrails app. Bring your clubs for golfing at beautiful Newberry Country Club. The house fit our family’s needs well. There was a lot of room for the 10 of us and was well stocked with the essentials.We loved having the view of Lake Superior and was a great beach for rock hunting. The sunrise and sunset was magnificent. We were hoping the northern lights would make a showing for us but they didn’t. Maybe next time! We loved the house and setting and would definitely come back.

We have stayed here several times and hope to return again. The location on Lake Superior is wonderful and peaceful, but it is easy to get to other parts of the UP. And it's close to the Uglyfish Baking Company!

The stay was amazing, the view of Lake Superior was hard to leave. I would definitely love to stay here again in the future.
