Come and enjoy your stay in Michigan's beautiful upper peninsula. This home offers 200 ft of lake frontage on the gorgeous North Manistique (Round) Lake ! You'll find many of the UP attractions located within 1 hour of this home. Whether you are looking for a quiet family getaway to relax and enjoy the lake or a comfortable home to retreat to after a busy day of exploring the beauty of Michigan's UP - this home has your vacation checklist covered!
What the home offers:
- 1700 acre clear all sports/ spring fed lake
-128 foot of dock - average depth of lake near dock is 2-3 feet and it is clean, clear and sandy water (beautiful clean lake - great for the kids to enjoy!)
- 1,800 Sq Ft Family Home on 4 acres (4 bedroom/ 2.5 bathrooms)
- 7 beds total - 3 of the 4 bedrooms offer gorgeous views of the lake
- Large deck for gatherings

Summer:
Jump in the crystal clear (spring fed) lake, or enjoy the many beautiful attractions of the UP. This property is located in the heart of all the popular destinations in the Eastern UP. (under 1 hour drive - see list below!)
- Fire pit and campfire wood are provided
- 5 kayaks with oars available for guests

-Less then 1/2 mile to get to public boat launch for North Manistique Lake and 1.5 miles for the public boat launch to the big Manistique Lake for those traveling with boats!

Open Living area with space to gather together. There is a utility room with full sized washer and drier as well as a drying rack for swim suits and snow gear!
The home does offer air conditioner for the hot summer days and propane heat and a wood burning fireplace to warm up to after a cold day of outdoor fun in the winter.
Winter: Ride directly to the snowmobile trials:
- 10 min to McMillan corner (Trail #498)
- 12 min to Trail #43 towards Seney
Plenty of space to park trucks and trailers. This property is located on a private road. Snowplowing is included in the rental price. Ample space to hang snowmobile gear/ helmets and if you have the fireplace going - your gear will dry quickly!
Summer: Explore the Upper Peninsula!

You can ride from the house to the trail heads at Seney, Curtis or Newberry. Spring fishing on North Manistique Lake is known for small mouth bass and walleye. Perch fishing is super year round. Northern pike and other species are readily caught. Summer brings a ton of action! Plenty to keep you busy for days!

This was our family’s first trip to the UP with 6 kids (5-14) and 2 adults. This home fit us perfectly. She kept it well stocked with linens, towels, kitchen items, and any extra toiletries that may have been forgotten. The home is on a very quiet lake with shallow area all the way out past the dock. It was nice to spend an afternoon there with the kayaks on site. The rest of the time we were on the go but this location was central, everything was less than 1.5hrs away. We enjoyed Pictured Rocks, Tahqaumenon State Park, Mackinac island, Marquette Presque Isle Park, and Manistique. Would recommend!!

We loved our time at this property. Everything was nearly as we expected, with the only exception being one of the bedrooms was quite close to the living room and only had a curtain. Having a larger group made this a little challenging at nighttime with kids, but made it work just fine. Lovely host- easy to get ahold of and had everything we needed.
