About this chalet rental

Well equipped 4 bedroom cabin that faces the beautiful Big Manistique Lake. This cabin is set on a private lot close to shared boat docks. A level grassy lawn with lounge chairs and plenty of parking is available. Guests have full access to fish cleaning station swimming area and shared boat dock.

Had a great stay. George, the caretaker was great with local information. fishing was good. the only issue was the heat wave came through, it was 90 degrees and the shops, stores and homes really dont have much in the way of air conditioning in the UP. i will be going again.

We ended-up in a different house on the property, but the owners were very flexible, and able to work-out an original mishap. George stays and manages the cabin properties during your stay, and is very helpful to anything you may need. The property is beautiful right on the lake with a dock to park your boat, fish, or swim off of. We rented a pontoon from Watson's for the week without any issues. Manistique is a small town with minimal traffic. There is a cute country winery less than a mile away. There is not much around for groceries, so bring what you can with you. We would definitely recommend staying here.
