About this cottage rental
Come and enjoy your stay on South Manistique Lake in Curtis, MI in a lovely century old log cottage. As one guest mentioned "This place is amazing! Like living in another time but with modern conveniences."
The cottage has plenty of sleeping and living space and a beautiful, well-stocked galley kitchen all situated on a scenic lake front. The main cabin has 3 bedrooms, a sitting room with futon adjacent to the master bedroom, a full bath, and a spacious living area. The deck off the main cabin has outdoor seating and a beautiful view of the lake. The newly remodeled guest suite includes a queen size bed, a full bath, washing machine/dryer and also has a great view of the lake.
During your stay at Sprang Cottage you will be able to relax in a hammock, enjoy kayaking on the lake, fish off the cedar dock, play corn hole in the yard, grill delicious food on a charcoal Weber grill, sit by a crackling campfire, watch the brilliant stars and so much more.
The cabin is within an hour’s drive from the Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, Mackinac Island, Seney Wildlife Refuge and other interesting and scenic places to visit.

Loved this gem of a cottage! From the Lake view to the multiple details throughout the entire cottage and the carriage house, it was absolutely wonderful. Loved the kayaks down at the dock, the MASSIVE suite upstairs and as silly as this sounds the sharp knives! I bring my own knives everywhere because I hate cooking with dull knives but didnt have to use my own —plus the extra cooking supplies were a huge bonus. Loved everything about this place as did my super picky parents. Our kids asked when we could come back, lol.This was about an hour from everywhere we were visiting in multiple directions, so it was a perfect location for us. The community center had a great little live concert while we were in town and the gardens were in full bloom while we were there, which was a true treat. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Our second time staying at the cabin and everything was perfect. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and a lovely quiet setting. Rented a pontoon boat for the week from a local company. Lots of fishing and birdwatching. Highly recommend the Seney wildlife reserve drive for bird/nature enthusiasts, we went several times! Absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful location on a lake with a great view. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. A washer and dryer were also provided with laundry supplies. Two bedrooms downstairs with a bathroom. Huge bedroom upstairs that shares the downstairs bathroom. A really nice bedroom was added to the back of the garage with a full bathroom/laundry room. Dollar General and two restaurants are just down the road. The communication with the host was great. We enjoyed our stay!
