About this house rental
The Taylor House is bright and newly renovated, with original single pane windows, original wood floors (please don’t bring a level), 9’ ceilings, all the charm of a historic home with all the modern conveniences. Contemporary Kitchen, gas cooktop/oven, ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, three smart TV’s, Wi-Fi, new LG washer/dryer. Fenced in back garden to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails.
One King bedroom, One Queen bedroom and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Two full bathrooms, one with a beautifully restored claw tub, the 2nd with a completely updated tile walk in shower plus a convenient ½ bathroom.
There is plenty of free street parking on the street and 2 spots in front of the house.

Location –
The Taylor House is on a safe, beautiful cobblestone street, surrounded by sprawling oak trees and beautiful historic homes. Walk two blocks to the start of the award-winning Cape Fear Riverfront with countless restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, breweries, wine bars, museums and shops along the way. Also, Chandlers Wharf is only two blocks aways with more restaurant options. The heart of downtown is an 8 minute walk.
Drive to North Carolina’s famous Wrightsville beach (11 miles) or Carolina Beach (16 miles) in 20 minutes. We are 5 miles from ILM airport.
Pets are welcome with a fee, please include pets in booking.

The host has truly thought of everything. The house is beautiful and has plenty of amenities. We were a group of four in town for a wedding, so it was nice for everyone to have their own bed, and having 2.5 bathrooms was a huge plus. The location was perfect for us, we always found street parking right out front, and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe.

We are a sales group that needed a get away to regroup for a couple of days. The Young house was beyond perfect. It is bigger than the pictures online and everything was clean and well stocked. Very short walk to the river walk area with a lot of restaurants and coffee houses

Visited with my husband and two adult daughters joined us for a few days each. Girls loved being able to walk everywhere! In our ten day visit, we were able to walk to multiple fantastic coffee shops, out for dinner every night, yoga class, spa day, walked to church and to a show at Thalian Hall. We look forward to staying again!I’m an experienced VRBO user and bring an emergency kit with me. I didn’t need any of my supplies because the Taylor House had everything we needed.

Truly enjoyed this well appointed vacation stay. Listing details are 100% accurate and it was a pleasure working with the host. Our family visits Wilmington quite a lot and if you are looking for a place in the downtown area with or without pets, this is the best place to be!
