About this house rental
Manzanita Golfer’s Paradise is the perfect place to stay for a family or group of friends traveling to the Hood Canal and Alderbrook Golf Course area. The main living space has vaulted ceilings, golf course views and a large couch/sofa bed to stream your favorite movies and shows. Enjoy our hot tub, spacious deck for outside entertainment and close proximity to the Clubhouse. Only minutes from downtown Union, restaurants, shopping, hiking and much more!
Our main living area is an inviting space with a vaulted ceilings, windows with golf course views and a propane fireplace to nestled up to. The entire floor plan includes the living room, dining room and kitchen. We have a daybed/sofa for two extra guests (best for children) with a nearby mounted smart tv to stream your favorite movies and shows. We do not have cable tv. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook your favorite meals, including a six-person dining table. In case of rain or just for fun, guests can play with our well stocked family games, puzzles, toys and books for children.
You are conveniently located less than one mile to the Clubhouse, where you will discover sweeping views of the Olympic Mountains throughout the golf course and a restaurant with specialty drinks and food accommodating all walks of life. Golfing is not included - please contact Alderbrook Golf Club to book your tee time and learn more about their fees.
The primary bedroom is a large tranquil room with natural lighting, a king bed, memory foam, quality bedding for your comfort, small tv and spacious closet for storage. It has easy access to the outdoor hot tub through your private entrance.
The second bedroom includes a queen bed with memory foam, quality bedding, luggage rack and large closet for storage. It also has its own private entrance to access the outdoor hot tub.
The hot tub is best for 2-4 adults and includes spa supplies, towels and sitting area. It is nestled in a private fenced-in courtyard near the front of the house (in between both bedrooms). The hot tub does not have a view of the golf course but showcases the beautiful PNW surroundings while providing privacy and relaxation.
We have a propane fire pit table on the deck, a propane grill and outdoor covered dining for summertime meals. You have one parking space in the garage with the option to add 2 more cars in the driveway. The cottage on property is not for guest use and considered private. The home is located in a residential neighborhood but considered very quiet and safe with will little traffic.

House was overall great and well appointed. Only a couple of minor issues like no sponge for washing dishes and wiping down counters which they had asked us to do in the check out instructions and instructions on how to use the cooktop would have been nice as well. Google helped with that because I was at a complete loss. I had also missed that there wasn't a blow dryer listed in the amenities but I have also never stayed at a VRBO that didn't have one. Just minor things that would have made the stay nicer but overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Clear communication with host. Easy check in and check out. Property is slightly old but excellent new deck and updated modern bathrooms, as well as ample parking. TV cable combo has all the channels we wanted to watch at night. Although we didn’t cook or bbq the house has lots of wares and appliances for indoor or outdoor cooking. We were happy to have the lodging during our visit.

The house was great but we had difficulty finding light switches (never ended up finding the switch for above the kitchen sink). Also need to provide instructions for the fire pit outside (couldn’t get it started with the instructions inside the panel). Also, when we used the hot tub, as soon as we started the jets, it made all of us cough continuously to the point where we could only stay in it for 5 minutes.
