Tiny houseboat IRENE was built in 2023 according to ecological standards. You will feel at home in this "tiny house on the water": The owners have lovingly and stylishly furnished it and the large seating lounge on the roof terrace invites you to spend sociable, cozy and/or romantic evenings outdoors. The 23 square meter interior has everything you need for your short break: kitchenette, bathroom with shower, fireplace, seating area, (sofa) bed, sleeping area with skylight, Wi-Fi.
In summer (April to October) the IRENE houseboat is located in Hamburg Harburg, in winter (November to March) on the Dove Elbe.
Tiny houseboat IRENE was launched in April 2023. This tiny houseboat was also built on site according to ecological standards, with local wood and wood wool insulation. The owners Myrthe and Carsten have furnished it with great attention to detail to make you feel at home on board.
On 18 square meters of floor space you will find everything you need for a successful houseboat vacation: equipped kitchenette, shower room with environmentally friendly dry separate toilet, (sleeping) sofa, fireplace, seating area by floor-to-ceiling windows. There is a comfortable 1.60 m wide mattress on the 5 square meter sleeping level above, and you can watch the stars at night through the skylight. From the living area, you step directly onto the terrace in front, where you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast. The roof terrace is a highlight: equipped with a large seating lounge, you can lounge in the sun and spend pleasant evenings with friends.
The IRENE tiny houseboat is suitable for up to four people. WLAN is available free of charge in the harbor. Unlike what you can see in the photos at the moment, IRENE has a berth in the front row. (The photos were taken before IRENE was moved).
Please note: This tiny houseboat has an environmentally friendly dry separation toilet. There is a container at the back for toilet paper and solids, and sawdust is thrown in after use. At the front, all liquids are drained into the houseboat's waste water tank. The toilet is comparable to a composting toilet.
