The room was modern, good location.
No proper reception so if we ran out of anything and the bar was closed we couldn’t get it. On the last evening the water was cold so no hot shower. For the money though it was a good stay.

Rooms were excellent, clean, spacious and staff very welcoming.
No car park and then had to walk up the hill, if you’ve got people struggling with fitness or luggage, drop them off and then park up after.

Fantastic location, kind hosts, clean room, comfy bed
Parking was a bit tricky and limited, it was also a little dark in the room but didn’t bother us as we were barely in the room

The staff was extremely friendly, sociable, and very helpful. The location is excellent, right next to the castle! We really enjoyed the bar as well as the renovated room with a nice and clean bathroom, all in a modern standard.
The room would benefit from better ventilation, as the window could not be opened. The bedsheet felt slightly damp and there was a faint musty smell. The bed was not very comfortable, particularly for an adult. Cleaning could also be improved, as some dust was noticeable.
