Castle Cottage Inn

Very warm and friendly, made to feel very welcome. A very charming, well maintained and clean property. Great evening meal and breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff took time cook me some extra pains au chocolat. The bedroom was well prepared.

Our only slight disappointment was the evening meal. We did expect stronger and more complex flavors, it was good but it tasted a bit tamed down to suit British/European palate.

Fantastic Inn - first of all the owner and rest of the staff were so lovely and welcoming and made you feel at home. They could not do enough to make sure you’re comfortable. Land lady left us additional fan outside the room in case we are too hot. The room we stayed was very clean and comfortable. There was so many things to make your stay comfortable and feel bit more special - welcome Welsh cake and chocolates, very well stocked up drinking facilities, room shoes, hairdryer and even clothing steamer. Bed was comfortable with nice bedding. Lighting in the room was sufficient. There was useful guide book in the room as well to learn more about Harlech. Bathroom was very nice, shower had a good pressure and plenty of hot water. Nice cosmetics in the bathroom. There was so many little details which made us feel really special. Highly recommend booking for Thai restaurant downstairs - food was phenomenal! The Aviation Bar was also fantastic with great views from the window. Breakfast was good and nice variety. Very convenient location. We have managed to park on site but there are only 3 spaces. However parking is available nearby so it’s not too much of an issue. We will definitely go back and stay there again! Highly recommended!

Nothing, everything was top notch. Just worth noting that as it is renovated old building there is no air con just open windows and fans, which for us wasn’t an issue.
