Trinity House

The property was excellent, clean and well maintained to a high standard. The host was very friendly too.

Due to the high temperatures, the self contained apartment could benefit from air conditioning.

The location was good and in a very lovely village. A very nice pub was nearby. It's about 2 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold.

* location - nice village but street looks like public housing. * facilities - Not " a well equipped " kitchen. no cooking facilities other than a toaster and an old microwave- ok if all you want is toast and 2 minute noodles. * bathroom - spacious. Black mould on ceiling above shower. Towels hard and scratchy from lack of conditioner. *bedroom - comfortable but furnishings old and worn out. * comfort - heating is at the whim and control of the host, with no consideration for guests. had to ask for heating to be turned on the first night. second night host went out, no contact beforehand. Third night didn't bother. * Host- elderly host completely lacking people skills .Seemed pleasant enough at first, but when i returned on the second day the parking was taken up by her friends. When i asked about my parking space i was told bluntly "its not your parking space, anybody can park there". Seemed to enjoy berating me within earshot of her friends. After that she made no contact with us apart from a sarcastic text. even stayed clear when checking out.
