About this apartment rental
Situated in the quiet village of Over Norton. No pub in the village but it’s ten minutes walk to Chipping Norton town centre which has all the tea rooms pubs and restaurants you could wish for. Soho farmhouse, Diddly Squat and Bourton on the Water are all nearby.
The flat is large and light and spacious with its own private keyed entrance so you can come and go as you please. The owner lives downstairs and is happy to provide information on local places and attractions.
The flat can sleep two but it is also ideal just for one person
It is no smoking. Please do not book if you smoke or even if you intend to smoke outside. This is not acceptable
The flat is fully equipped and has a four ring hob, microwave, toaster and all the pots pans and crockery and cutlery you need. There is also a dishwasher and fridge.
There is a lovely shower which is huge. The hot water is constant.
The WiFi signal is excellent and the WiFi password will be provided on your arrival.
The area is a favourite with dog walkers and hikers alike.
The flat is newly decorated and modern. A great place to stay if you want a bolthole or are visiting friend or family in the area.
Further to feedback left black out roller blinds have now been installed

During the months May - October the Central Heating is off. Heating for radiators goes on 1st November every year. No additional guests are permitted other than those registered at the time of booking

This apartment was a lovely size. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of glassware crockery and kitchen tools. I was able to make full cooked breakfast and evening meal no issues. There is a nice dining table. Bathroom had a large shower. Previous guests mentioned the apartment was warm. When we visited we opened the velux windows and this created a lovely draft we were able to cool the apartment and the temperature was very comfortable. There is also a large floor fan this has a long cable and is very quiet and can be used in the living area and bedroom to achieve your required temperature. I particularly like a dark bedroom and I was very pleased to find that the blinds on the windows were very effective and the bedroom was completely dark. The apartment backs on to open countryside nice views and we found it quiet. It is a mile walk into Chipping Norton and there are pavements all the way so this is a safe shaded pleasant walk to many pubs restaurants and shops. A very pleasant three night stay.

A large space above the owners house, it was clean, quiet and spacious; i was there for work and it suited me perfectly. Access is through a locked side corridor to the back garden, from there a private locked door to the stairs and flat.
The Owner is lovely, showed me around and was happy to accommodate my pedal bike undercover and securely too, which with bad weather was brilliant thank you.

Linane was super helpful with the booking (I made a few date changes prior to traveling) and informative about the area. The loft is spacious with a great shower and comfortable bed. I wasn't thrilled with having to walk through the tenants breezeway and through the backyard to get to the loft. There is a very thin wall separating the loft from the tenants house at the bottom of the stairs and at times you could hear the tenants. The fridge didn't have a freezer and only half of the 4 slice toaster worked. Also, there were many dead bugs in the lights which I found unusual seeing as how England has very few bugs.
All in all, it was a good value for the money.
