A great location in a lovely neighbourhood easy walk to restaurants etc
Everything was fine

The hotel is small with a boutique feel. Our room number 8 was quiet with an outdoor seating area. This was hard to use as we were in Mexico City in February which is winter time. There was unfortunately no chair in the room itself. The room is heated by a split which is high up on the wall and took a while to heat up the room and you had to use a high fan. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The rain shower head was totally delightful in a large shower with lots of room for toiletries at the sink. The bathroom was not heated though. The breakfast was adequate with three choices that did not change for the 4 days we were there. There is a charming bar and the restaurant served lunch and dinner as well. We had dinner there one night and it was very good. The location is relatively quiet and the position good for walking in the Condesa area. The area was safe and with many good restaurants to walk to as well as lovely parks.
It is cold in the hallways and restaurant in the winter. No chair in the room itself. You reach the upper floor by an outside courtyard and staircase which if it is raining can be a bit wet.

The hotel is beautiful and the location is in a great neighborhood but still calm. Breakfast options were limited, but very good. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The room we had was relatively close to the entrance gate, which we heard every time it opened and closed, which can sometimes be quite disturbing if you want to sleep. Also, the humidity of the bathroom did not easily go away in both bathroom and bedroom.

Location is truly 10/10, and the hotel itself is very cute and clean. The 24/7 reception is super helpful and flexible.
The rooms were quite cold and out of our three rooms two had problems w heating. Breakfast could open 7 instead of 8!

The hotel is beautiful, as every other review describes. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room (4) was spacious and had a lovely bathroom.
Two issues for a hotel of this price: the noise and the breakfast.
Every night (of a five night stay) I was woken (multiple times) by: the buzzer to let people in and out of the building, other guests (who tried to be quiet as they returned to their room), other guests shouting and laughing at 2am/3am/4am, some loud crashing/pounding in the courtyard for half an hour at 2:30 am, guests leaving the hotel to catch early flights, the fridge buzzing loud/quiet throughout the night, the staff coming in at 6:30-7:00 accompanied, once again, by the ridiculously loud buzzer. I notice all of these things have been mentioned in passing by other guests and clearly nothing has been done to fix them.
And then of course, CDMX is a busy and loud place — that’s my choice as a guest, however, I’ve never found a hotel to be quite so noisy; thin walls and windows don’t help. But given their is a night manager on site each night, surely they could asks guests to be more respectful of others?
As for breakfast, it’s really quite odd to be greeted each morning with a short breakfast menu (tasty and nice options), accompanied by an extensive menu of paid options. I probably wouldn’t have thought twice about it until one morning I ordered a second americano and was told I’d have to pay. Given there is no tea/coffee in the room, I think this borders on the ridiculous.
Given the huge numbers of hotels in the area, I probably wouldn’t risk the lack of sleep to stay here again. That doesn’t make it a bad hotel, just far too noisy for me - I’m not a light sleeper.

Comfy bed, great location, aesthetically pleasing design/architecture. The man working the night shift when we arrived was lovely and accommodating and gave us our room early at 5am.
The service otherwise was not up to the standard of a 9.4 rated hotel. A party of people staying at the hotel used the courtyard and hallways as their personal socialising areas after midnight to the early hours of the morning drinking and keeping the whole hotel awake. The hotel staff were apologetic, but did not compensate us for the bad experience/ lack of sleep for 3 days. They mentioned they were going to penalise the obnoxious guests, but that does not show good customer service to a couple on their honeymoon. Hope you guys learn from this, treat people fairly.

Clean and well arranged. Staff were extremely friendly and nice. Easy to walk to scenic spots and restaurants
AC is not very strong especially for cold weather. Room a little small with no desk.

Wonderful quite location but convenient for the coffee shops and restaurants of lovely Condesa and the cultural attractions of Chapultepec Park. The young staff were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic.

That they stopped dinner and drinks on Mondays and Tuesdays. They should have told us before we booked

The location is great. The concept is nice
The bellman and restaurant staff are extremely charming.
I was moved in the middle of my stay to a room very difficult for me to access. I did not feel the hotel was particularly gracious in their handling of this inconvenience.
The first room I was put in was very loud. The second room required climbing very steep stairs.
For a ‘four star’ hotel of its price, these accommodations were not as expected.

Great feel being small and more personal. Great location in a good area and easy walk to many restaurants
Air conditioning was to hot and damp regardless of setting

Beautiful design and location. Mostly very friendly and helpful staff.
Noisy with building work in some of the other hotel rooms which we weren’t warned about. Breakfast portions were quite limiting. It was a shame that there was no bar or option to get fresh drinks on the Monday and Tuesday we stayed.

This boutique hotel was centrally located in Condesa a short stroll away from Parque Mexico and all that Mexico City has to offer. I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. The room was quiet and modern, very calming with earthy tones. Breakfast was fantastic. Overall amazing value for money and one of the best stays I’ve had, and I’ve stayed in plenty of 5 stars across the world.
A slight miscommunication around late check out but this was swiftly resolved and I was allowed to check out 1 h later than normal checkout time.

Beautiful building. Comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff at reception. Great location. Very clean.
Crammed rooms, small and tight. Breakfast was bland, possibly with the idea that you would purchase extra breakfast items from the restaurant.

Perfectly located in a beautiful area. The hotel’s design is remarkable, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We couldn’t have breakfast due to an early flight, but the staff kindly prepared a breakfast box for us.
The room was a bit small. We requested in advance to check in earlier, but unfortunately there was zero flexibility from the staff, which was disappointing. Even 1 or 2 hours of flexibility would have made a difference since we arrived in CDMX early in the morning.

We had a great 6 day stay at Casa Cuenca for the following reasons:
Excellent and helpful staff, which includes the front desk and waitstaff at Maleza! They provided a thoughtful cake and drink for my birthday! They also provide a pitcher of filtered water that they will refill to use daily.
The location is great! It's on a quiet street, but there are plenty of great restaurants and cafes within a few blocks. It's also a 20+minute walk to Bosque de Chapultepec. We felt very safe exploring Condesa and Roma.
We looked forward to breakfast every day! You get delicious coffee, juice, a pastry or toast and your choice of eggs. Shout out to Mari and Diego for great service.
Our room was on the ground floor in the back with a terrace, so it was a pretty quiet and private space. The king bed was comfortable and there was a living space with sofa and TV.
Unfortunately, when using the shower (which has beautiful tile & great water pressure!), the bathroom and entire room became a sauna since there's no extractor or fan. It made everything damp. We talked to the front desk and they said they are planning to fix this issue in the future. There is also a lack of storage space in the bathroom. Just adding a couple shelves would be very helpful. The room was dark since the windows are covered by brickwork & the lighting is quite dim.

The room was large and very quiet. Breakfast was included and good selection from freshly squeezed juices to various breakfast dishes. We also had a dinner at the restaurant and it was amazing! Everything was delicious and we even got an opportunity to chat with the chef. What a lovely touch.

the bathroom is smaller than i expected - and wet. but overall still pretty good!

The staff was friendly and super helpful , the decor was beautiful, amazing breakfas and the in-room cosmetics were amazing – all big positives!!
On the downside, it was very noisy from the street, and the room layout made it easy to see into other rooms. The curtain rods were too short to fully cover the windows, which didn’t offer much privacy. The biggest issue, though, was the bathroom. If you’re not comfortable doing your business with someone else in the room, this might not be the place for you – the bathroom doors are see-through, and unfortunately, you can clearly see someone sitting on the toilet. I was there with my boyfriend, and it felt not so sexy .

Need MORE light in the room and mirror…could put a shower glass vs curtain.

A beautiful boutique hotel in a very picturesque part of Condessa. Our room was huge with a separate living area. The breakfast was fantastic. Could happily have stayed a week or longer.

Gorgeous calm environment, stylish and excellent breakfasts. Staff were extremely warm and helpful. Honesty bar, small pool and general vibe
This is not something I didn’t ’like’ but important to know that this is not a full service hotel.
