Charming 3BR Inner City Haven Highgate Hill

Had a great stay in this perfect holiday house. Modern, stylish, well equipped and very clean. Clever sleeping configuration means it could sleep more than the 4 of us adults (good for families). Appreciated the little touches of tea, coffee, milk etc. Very big outside seating area. We really enjoyed the location. Walk to restaurants and takeaways including 10 minutes to a very modern shopping centre. We also took 10 minute taxis to the centre of Brisbane and also walked in taking around 30 minutes. Would stay again. Very good communication from the owners and great recommendation for breakfast (Lift cafe)

It is the top floor of a house so you do need to be respectful of your neighbours downstairs

An absolutely beautiful place, so charming, had a lot of carácter, very clean and spacious. Our family was visiting us from overseas, and it was great to be able to accomodate them here. Perfect location, so convenient to shops, restaurants and the main sightseeings of Brisbane. Generally the place was very fresh and clean. Superb.

Check in was a bit of a headache. Process was overly complicated. Also on arrival, the rubbish bins outside were overflowing, it was very stinky, and the rubbish flew around the front yard, not a nice experience getting in.

Great property for a big group. Beautiful views and in walking distance to lots and bus stops

The location was great for what we were doing during our stay. Close to cafes, grocery stores and restaurants.

We were told strict rules with not checking in until 3pm. Did not receive details to check in until just before 3pm and we had travelled all day. We then arrived to only 2 towels in the property for 9 guests, cleaning equipment still left in the house, and no pillow cases on some of the pillows. The cleaner was still at the property which meant we couldn't get ready for our event and it hindered our whole experience. The cleaner was parked in the parking spot and it's a steep hill with not alot of space so to park our car while waiting for her it took up at least 20 mins. She was very stressed and flustered which also hindered the enjoyment of our experience. We were there for my sisters hens weekend and birthday and we all had to rush to get ready with only 30 mins being we had to wait to get towels so we could freshen up after travelling before our event. The pillows provided were terrible, we all woke up with sore shoulders and had to use the pillows from the couch to get some sort of comfort during our sleep. The property was also not advertised as a split level property - it's not a whole house but one level upstairs and one level downstairs. We had people staying below us and they partied the whole weekend. We messaged the host advising that they had been up all night partying and nothing was done. Overall it was not a great experience being the amount of money we had spent. The small touches would make this property nice to stay at. Very disappointed, maybe would consider if more effort was put in to have your guests comfortable during their stay.
