the place is falling apart, it was so dirty didn’t even want to sleep in the house, stank of weed straight when we opened the house debt letters opened in the kitchen drawer just overall bad experience

Don't bother booking. Worst place I've stayed.

Parking and location

It was filthy. The beds were broken and uncomfortable. There was no seating anywhere. The dining table was broken in half. The sofa was filthy with stains and broken. The bedding was clean but there was a cupboard heaped up with dirty laundry. The shower holder was broken. The water ran hot and cold. Carpets were filthy.

Poor place to stay

Close to city centre

The property was dirty and poorly kept. There were a lot of rubbish bags in the driveway, the curtains were dirty, old and coming off from some hooks, the sofa bed was absolutely shocking, it was dirty as anything I’ve ever seen, corona box under the sofa bed and full of white marks on the mattress. The floor was dirty, the toilet was cold and without any handwashing facilities in it. Hot water would run for a few seconds and then get cold again. Poor ventilation in the property. I will not recommend this property unless the host actually makes an effort to clean it up.

Atrocious! We will definitely not be back!

I can’t think of much good to say, apart from the sheets were good quality.

There was so much wrong with the house, it was dirty, inadequate facilities for the number of guests, not enough chairs or crockery etc. We couldn’t use the lock on the bathroom door, or even shut it properly. The basin tap was loose and the sink wouldn’t drain. The shower head wouldn’t stay up, the electric sockets were faulty. There was water coming in through the kitchen ceiling, which looked like it could fall down soon. The list is endless, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

The property was centrally located and, overall, maintained a high standard of cleanliness.

While the property was centrally located and generally very clean, there were a few minor issues that should be addressed to bring it up to a higher standard. The flooring carpet appeared outdated, and there were several problems with door functionality: the downstairs toilet door was not operational, the first-floor bathroom and toilet door handles were broken, and the bathroom sink tap was loose. These are relatively minor defects that can be rectified at minimal cost and would significantly improve the overall condition and appeal of the property.

Good location and spacious place, but some of the simple things like door locks on the toilets & ba.

Location was good

The toilets in the house & bathroom have no locks on the door so no privacy had to get someone to wait outside the door while doing your business in the toilet or bathroom. The hot water takes really a long time to get warmed up. Upstairs in the bathroom sink the tap is lose & the hot water wasn't coming hot. Good job this was in summer nit winter. Also in the back bedroom the slats on the bed was broken. The iron was burned but they did give a replacement iron after I contacted the host.

The property was unsafe and unclean. There was hair in the beds, dirty water, no hot water, a vomit smell from mattresses, and a loose carpet that caused my child to fall and hit a doorframe. I’m immunocompromised and this stay seriously put my health at risk. Despite photo evidence and complaints, the property offered just £40. Booking.com has not resolved this properly. Not fit to be listed.
