The Treehouse at Alma Bay

We were a family of five on foot. The hosts were helpful in local knowledge, recommendations for grocery delivery, visiting with extra items (eg: tea towels and baking paper) and also providing us with transport to and from the ferry. The house was breezy and shaded. The outdoor shower was so glorious. We enjoyed the big table for family games and eating out on the deck with the friendly kookaburras.

Some items were sparse. There was only 3 dishwasher cubes and we stayed for 7 days (so we just hand washed). There was only one tray to use in the oven & one tea towel. Hosts responded quickly to our needs. Nothing major.

The rooms could have had air conditioning but that is the only thing, everything else was great

The hosts for this property were helpful beyond what I could have imagined. Nothing was too hard to fix, and service was prompt and cheerful. I felt like I was home. The house itself is well equipped, with all the best quality white goods, crockery, cutlery and everything you need. It is spacious, and thoughtfully designed. We stayed there for a month, and it was good for my elderly mum. She had the bedroom next to the bathroom, and it was safe for her as there were no steps involved in getting between them. The setting is beautiful, with tropical forest all around, accompanied by inspiring wildlife like kookaburras.

The treehouse is comfortable, wonderfully decorated and very well supplied. Swift communication with the host

A small mark on the street entrance (house number) would make it easier to find the house arriving for the first time
