My stay at this apartment was unfortunately not as comfortable as I had hoped.

The location just few minutes away from the funicular and bus stop.

Air Conditioning: The AC setup was a complete failure. It was just a portable unit that required keeping the window open for the exhaust. This made the room noisy, let in mosquitoes (the provided net didn’t fully cover the window), and the machine itself was so loud it was impossible to sleep. Noise: The room was extremely noisy overall. The boiler was located inside the room and kept making loud sounds even during the night. Being next to a main road, outside noise was constant, and to make matters worse, the front door didn’t close properly, letting in even more sound. Comfort: The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were as thin as cardboard. I woke up with back pain after sleeping there. Facilities: The TV was practically useless. Its placement made it impossible to watch comfortably from the bed or sofa, and there were no local channels available without a subscription. The shower was tiny — we could barely move inside it. Cleanliness: The condition of the room was poor. We found bugs and even squashed mosquitoes on the walls, which made the stay feel unhygienic. While the apartment has potential, I feel that some improvements in comfort, noise insulation, and cleanliness would make a big difference for future guests.

Good room, but the bed is a massive flaw.

The room was quite big and well equipped. The beds were well placed, table was adequate with adequate sitting and the kitchen was good, with a coffee machine, an oven and a stove. The bathroom was also good and well separated from the bedroom, which is always a plus when you're traveling with kids and don't want to wake them up if you want to shower after they're asleep. There were plenty of parking spots, although they were shared with another B&B that's in the same location. Access to the keys was easy and the owner was very accessible and friendly. The location is really good, very close to the funicular that leads to the upper city.

The bed was really, really bad. Pillows were insufficient and too thin and soft, almost like we were sleeping over a folded sheet. The mattress itself was way too soft and the bed was very squeaky. For this and this alone, we were glad we only had to stay for one night. It was difficult to sleep and me and my wife were waking up all the time. Also, the way the doors open was not very stroller-friendly, but that's a minor issue.
