Berchtesgaden is amazing! Enjoy your stay.
We had a great time at the house - it was everything we needed. The weather was gray & cloudy the first day but came out the second and the view was really well. We called the taxi service they recommend and they were fantastic. The hills and walk an be intimidating but there's a ton of short cuts - we stayed for Krampus and had a blast - actually got to watch them go through neighborhood! Yes, I would recommend.
My friends are telling me that they needed more towels. The wifi didn't work for us. Not sure why - we had some much fun we didn't us it .
