Wood House Lodge

The area was lovely. The house was in a secluded and quiet location surrounded by trees, with a stream nearby. There was lots to explore in the immediate area. The house is beautiful and very nicely decorated/furnished. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and very helpful. There were scones and jam waiting for us on arrival! Also milk in the fridge and tea and coffee etc.

The living room was a good size, the only issue we had is that the sofa and chair could have been a little more comfortable. There is only a 2-seater sofa (or a tight squeeze with 3!), and one armchair. Not too bad for us as a couple, but we could see a potential problem if a family were staying there.

Our host was most welcoming and hospitable. The location was amazing, exactly as we had hoped. The facilities were.convenient. The lodge was very homely. A superb stay and highly recommended.

The stay wasn't long enough. There were no deer for us to see.

Beautiful old lodge, surrounded by mature woodland and next to a stream. Dimitra was the perfect host - always available if you had any questions or needed anything, without being overbearing. We arrived to fresh flowers, cake and wine which made us feel really welcome. The lodge is in a great location for trips to Cahir, Cashel, Clonmel or Tipp Town and there are loads of great hikes nearby. Inside, the property was spotless and had everything we needed. We’re already planning our next trip.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen, genauso wie wir es wollten. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr gut unterstützt. Ein Auto für Einkäufe ist wichtig.
