Bleantis Mountain Cottage in the Comeragh Mountains

Our stay in the cottage could not have been better. Located in some of the most beautiful scenery, the cosy cottage met our every need and offered us more than we ever expected. Elizabeth’s hospitality was the best we have ever received. Everything that was necessary for an exceptional stay was readily available to us and we always felt like we could ask for any assistance if we needed it. The host provided us with enough information on things to do in the area to last us a month! I have lived in Waterford and I was not aware of the majority of the things recommended. Aside from all that, the cottage was impeccably clean, beautifully furnished and comfortable. This stay is perfect for anybody looking for a grounding, relaxing stay in gorgeous countryside. We would highly recommend and will certainly return!

Everything was perfect

The cottage is a real gem. We loved the beautiful and slightly wild surrounding countryside. The charming town of Dungarvan is only a short drive away, as is the Copper Coast with its lovely coves and beaches. The cottage itself is tranquil and comfortable. The hosts are welcoming and extremely hospitable, offering valuable tips and insights about the area, its delights and its magic.

Location is good to many fun things, walks, waterfall, beaches, music… Spotless clean, privately tucked in the mountains, recycling available and other environmental friendly practices, both bedroom beds and sofa bed are comfortable, kitchen well equipped, beautiful flowers, very pleasant. The hosts offered us local milk, butter, and bread rolls from the local Barron’s bakery, delicious. Very thorough tourist information offered. Best of all, to feel welcomed from the moment of booking, by two warm, thoughtful, wise and worldly ladies. Both my husband and I and our kids enjoyed the stay. Would love to come back!
