Best Accommodation ever!!!

That was the very best accommodation I've ever had on holiday! A warm welcome, a perfectly clean, cozy and well equipped cottage and super lovely hosts!!! We loved it and we absolutely fell in love with the surroundings! What a beautiful place to be! We'll definitely be back one day!

I would definitely reccomend to friends.

It was a shame we couldn’t stay longer. We loved everything about the property and also the surroundings. We’d like to visit again for a longer stay next time. And we were very impressed about the cleanness of the cottage. It was spotless. Thanks so much Elizabeth and Judy for your hospitality during our stay.

Wish we had stayed longer!

Absolutely beautiful! Excellent place with everything you will need for your stay. Very remote, but close to places for dinner. Excellent WiFi signal. Amazing hosts! We went for a walk through the bogs looking at old archeological places with the dogs. Great conversation and the dogs were so sweet. Dubh and Porto were favorites.

Peaceful cottage in the hills with very accommodating hosts.

A lovely annex cottage up in the hills. A very warm welcome from the hosts, with milk, butter and rolls provided upon arrival. We had everything we needed in the little kitchen for a short stay and a nice outdoor sitting space including a barbeque, logs and charcoal. The location is very peaceful and rural, with just a short drive to the lovely harbour town of Dungarvan for shopping and about half an hour drive from the stunning Mahon Falls.

We would have liked more time to explore, as the hosts had lots of advice on nice walks in the area!

A beautiful cottage at a very scenic location and close to lots of hiking spots and tourists attraction. Elizabeth and Judy were so welcoming and we could not have wished more. Friendly dogs. Place was very clean and comfortable.

Lovely peaceful location, great place to go for a stroll along the country lanes or a walk in the mountains or to just to get away from it all. The cottage was cosy and had everything you would need for a heart warming and relaxing vacation. Just the place to recharge the batteries.

Comfy Cottage

Set in breathtaking beautiful countryside, as if the seen was ripped out of a story book. Elizabeth and Judy treated us like family and their friendly dogs just made the holiday even more special. It’s a must see, forget about the hassle of Spain and Greece, this little cottage is unforgettable at a fraction of the price. Make sure you rent a car🤗. Cottage was clean cute and cosy.

Overall it is a perfect spot for a break away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The cottage was lovely. It had all essentials you would need for a break away. We had brought food for the first day or two and Elizabeth had left milk, butter, tea and coffee and of course the Waterford Blaas. The cottage is perfectly comfortable for 2 people and would probably cater for 4 with the sofa bed in the living area. We knew there were dogs on the premises, but we didn't hear or see them until our third day there and that was because we were joining all 4 dogs for their walk in the mountain. Our host Elizabeth brought us up the mountain into an area which we would never have found on our own. It was a fabulous walk with fabulous views and Elizabeth was fabulous company. The dogs are really well behaved and obeyed every order from Elizabeth. That and our trip to Mahon Falls were the highlights of our trip.

So comfortable, clean and homey.

The host, Elizabeth, was so accomodating. She provided such a lovely welcome pack, a welcome letter and so much information and brochures about the area. She honestly went above and beyond to meet our needs.

The property didn't have an oven. However everything else was so perfect that we didn't even miss it.

Wunderschönes Erlebnis

Die Unterkunft war mit Abstand die beste, die wir seit langem hatten. Die Wohnung selbst ist blitzsauber, zweckmäßig und gleichzeitig gemütlich eingerichtet; die Lage in den Bergen wunderschön. Das Beste allerdings waren unsere Gastgeberinnen Judy und Elizabeth - von den Anreiseinformationen über die freundliche Begrüßung und die Lebensmittel im Kühlschrank angefangen über eine gemeinsame Wanderung mit ihren fantastischen Hunden, Führungen zu archäologischen Zeugnissen und Oghamsteinen bis hin zu einem gemeinsamen Abend mit Drinks und Snacks und einer Tee-Einladung zum Abschied. Wir hatte quasi Familienanschluss und konnten viele interessante Gespräche führen und hilfreiche Tipps bekommen. Es war eine wunderbare (leider zu kurze) Zeit mit Elizabeth, Judy und ihren Hunden und wir hoffen, eines Tages wiederkommen zu können!
