Spotlessly clean and spacious. A very responsive host. We were able to walk around the stunningly beautiful estate gardens with breathtaking views and also used the one-of-a-kind treetop sauna, located within walking distance of the apartment.

Winding stairs can be a challenge if you have bulky luggage.

Couple of minor things: Spiral staircase a little daunting for 89 year old Two key codes a bit irritating

The property is part of the courtyard of the main house. All the facilities needed are there. A very spacious living room with Attached kitchen and an equally Spacious bedroom with en suite shower room. The surrounding Gardens are stunning and the wild rabbits playing in the garden are a joy to watch.

The corner shower unit is small and the water pressure and temperature wasn’t great. Access to the property is up a small outdoor spiral staircase which is difficult to manage with luggage and anyone with any mobility issues will not have access to the property.

We liked the setting. The rooms were generous and spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Parking was easy. And the surrounding grounds/gardens were beautiful.

Several issues: Security: our understanding is that the key codes are seldom changed; and this, combined with a lack of a bolt on the door, is an obvious security issue. In theory, anyone could enter the premises at any time, using either the front door or the connecting door to the main house. The double bed; pushing two single mattresses together does not make a pleasant sleeping experience. Having a printed copy of the user manual would be useful: the phone signal is poor, and it wasn't easy to locate wifi details etc.
