Dromdiah Lodge

A lovely place to stay – quiet, peaceful, very comfortable, well appointed and in a great location. I originally booked for just one night but ended up staying for four, across two different rooms, both of which were excellent. I particularly liked Poets Corner, which is spacious and has everything a visitor could need, including a very good shower and even a microwave. I didn’t use the microwave, but it’s a thoughtful and useful addition. The location is also very convenient. I was able to walk to the Old Thatch pub, where I ate twice and enjoyed good-quality, well-cooked pub food. There’s also a large Centra shop just a few minutes’ walk away. All of this made for a very easy, comfortable and enjoyable stay. I’d happily return.

The location is quiet and away from open overcrowded parking and both clean and spacious.

I have nothing to comment upon that was disappointing about our experience - lovely place.

Not much, probably rushed to become an AirBnb. The picture above shows a bright uncluttered building, quite different when we pulled up. A ton of junk around property like Appalachia. The bed was comfortable

This was really a room in a converted xtra barn/ or whatever on property. One communal fridge for guests… in entry way No lock on main door. Building was cold and damp. No rugs in room or bath. New towels never washed shed lint everywhere on everything. ONE towel hook? One garment rack, no closet, drawers or armoire for guests (we used it for hanging the towels ) No TV, no mini-microwave. Why rent a BnB if you cannot get beyond a yogurt or danish? We were in a lovely full service hotel the night before for merely 25€ more. This was shameful!
