About this cottage rental
Located in a large, richly planted courtyard garden, Horseshoe Cottage has been transformed from its previous life as farm stables to become a bright, spacious 2-bedroom cottage with traditional features while providing all the comforts and luxuries needed for a calm relaxed holiday in a friendly atmosphere.
The cheerful yellow front door sets the tone for this uplifting country cottage, with its bright hallway from where the en-suite Master Bedroom is on the left and the family Bathroom and Twin Bedroom are to the right. A glazed door from the front hall leads into the especially spacious split-level living area.
With high beamed ceilings and painted stone walls, the living room is flooded with light from Velux windows. The kitchen has all electric appliances including electric hob/fan oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, blender, iron and ironing board. The kitchen has lots of pots, pans, utensils as well as crockery, cutlery, tea towels, kitchen roll etc. An adjacent dining table has 4 chairs and a door from the kitchen opens into an enclosed private sunny patio with table and chairs, parasol and BBQ.
Separated from the kitchen by a feature internal chimney and at a slightly higher level, the comfortable lounge has a couch, 2 easy chairs and a wood burner and a well-stocked book-case, and the large flat screen TV has Irish, UK and international channels.
The Master Bedroom has a 5 ft bed, wardrobe and drawers, and it has an en-suite shower and WC.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds, wardrobe and a desk with chair and it is located beside the family bathroom which has bath/shower and WC.
The farm is in a quiet, tranquil location, away from it all, yet close to so many amenities and beauty spots!

Spacious, well-equipped, private cottage in a tranquil garden setting, with easy access to cities, villages, sites and amenities. It was just the two of us, but the layout with two baths, and bedrooms at opposite ends of the house from one another would offer plenty of privacy for housemates. Parking is easy. The wif-fi is strong. Even on cloudy days, the many skylights and windows keep the home bright. The hosts are wonderful! Their years of experience are evident in their offering the perfect balance of service, attentiveness and respect for privacy.

Great location, Owners are very friendly and lovely. We felt at home and were very comfortable, groceries etc very close, central to several great areas. We didn't want to leave.Thanks Patricia for your hospitality

'Horseshoe Cottage' is one of four restored dwellings on the Warren Family farm in Whitechurch, Co, Wexford. A little off the main roads, it oozes charm and comfort. The cottage is exceptionally well equipped, modern and warm. Patricia is a superb hostess- a personal welcome, fresh roses on the table, tea tray ready. TV, Wi-Fi etc. Full bookshelf and many board games. Sunny patio with bbq and a 'Miss Marple'garden. Well worth a visit.
