Nestled in a farm court yard opposite the church of Ireland in the tiny village of OldLeighlin on the Carlow Kilkenny border. Easy to find & ideal for touring around Carlow & Kilkenny. The midlands has lots to offer on its doorstep. The small but perfectly adequate fam house is attached to the working farm with parking in a secure yard. Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with 2 double beds. Bathroom has a disabled accessible shower. Our host Olive was there to meet us and talk us through house facilities and local attractions. I had my rescue dog Charlie with me and there were places close at hand to walk him.

plenty of room and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable, Olive and Denis are extremely friendly and welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. Parking and location. Bar opening on Wednesday and meeting local people. Learning about farm life and living in Ireland. Small drive and walk to see local sites mentioned by Olive.
