It was very clean with one or two exceptions
Beds comfortable
Bed linen spotlessly clean as were the towels
A well presented and equipped property ideal for a family for a weeks stay or longer
Front door lock barrel needs replacing
Main bedroom en suite shower tray was mouldy at the bottom and leaking slightly

i loved how homely the house felt and how comfortable it felt for us to stay here
only thing we were concerned with was parking but we solved that problem after a few looks around us

Lovely house, very comfortable. The river Barrow is just down the lane, and the street is quiet, traffic wise.
There was absolutely nothing in the kitchen. Basic items, like teabags, coffee and milk would have been helpful It was the first time ever, arriving in a premises that these basic items were not available.

Easy to get to and from Kilkenny, Supervalu up the road and Lidl very close. The house has the basics in the kitchen, a microwave and a toaster, but no coffee maker.⁶ Easy to access keys and very flexible regarding arrival time, which worked great for our family. Having electric showers in one of the bedrooms was also helpful as we were not spending much time in the house waiting for the boiler to heat up water.
The mattress on the double bed had a lump on it, very uncomfortable to sleep on, probably a very old spring mattress, could do with a new one. Street parking in front of the house might not be available, when you arrive. Early in the morning there was a workshop or belding shop very loud, that was a bit disrupting as we needed to leave windows open.
