Townhouse 1 Barrow Lane

The house was perfectly clean, everything we needed there for us. Location excellent, central to everything in town…shops/pubs 2 minute walk away. Eoin was an excellent host and sent an informative email prior containing all the things we needed to know. All in all a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning!

The location? The lovely Barrow river! Eoin was a great host and the local pubs were great for the Guinness and Heineken! Thanks for a great stay

Very good, I recommend it.

Easy to get to and from Kilkenny, Supervalu up the road and Lidl very close. The house has the basics in the kitchen, a microwave and a toaster, but no coffee maker.⁶ Easy to access keys and very flexible regarding arrival time, which worked great for our family. Having electric showers in one of the bedrooms was also helpful as we were not spending much time in the house waiting for the boiler to heat up water.

The mattress on the double bed had a lump on it, very uncomfortable to sleep on, probably a very old spring mattress, could do with a new one. Street parking in front of the house might not be available, when you arrive. Early in the morning there was a workshop or belding shop very loud, that was a bit disrupting as we needed to leave windows open.
