We have stayed @ the “Coral Reef” for many years, always had a pleasant experience. This year was a disappointment for sure. The facility was under an exterior makeover. We were not informed of this by the staff. We were unable to use the lobby or fitness room. Chipped paint, cords running everywhere, carpet at the elevator’s dirty. The pool heater was off so the children couldn’t swim. Our room also didn’t have a working passcode, could only use the deadbolt at night. Also in all the years of staying here we have never seen a bug, there was a cockroach in the bathroom.Due to the fact that our 2 year old grandson was sleeping in the master closet we left earlier than planned. The facility was not up to our expectations. We feel the price for the week was excessive. I’m hopeful that the “CoralReef” will be restored to the beautiful place we spent so many vacations in the past.
