Nice location and responsive host

Location is nice and apartment is clean. Host was remote but very responsive and also helped arrange taxi as there was a national train strike on the day we checked out.

Couple of things can be improved: - Locks (rather keys) for front, back and lockbox are tricky and need to learn to use it..in the age of electronic locks with apps this can be frustrating if you are dealing with checkin during night/rain. - No microwave & dishwasher..kind of a hassle if we want to reheat something and having to deal with dishes. - Washer in the bathroom is hard to use (rather congested area) and the drying racks are rusted Expect these things can be fixed so that the high price can be justified.

Not a luxury apartment and not good value for money

Location was fair, not the best in Monterosso but acceptable.

No contact with hosts (I thought this was the watchword of airbnb) Few promised extras: eg: no coffee, no olive oil, few tea bags House was far too gloomy to be called a luxury apartment, garden smaller than expected, not much sitting area.

A great Monterosso base

A small walk from the action but nice and quiet and we loved the courtyard with lemon and lime trees.

Nice and clean. Has everything you need for a good stay. Great AC, washing machine , toiletries , hair dryer, outdoor area to dry clothes , nice provisions of breakfast goods for a light breakfast, coffee pod machine . Beach towels if you need, request from the host before you arrive (extra €2 each) . Great communication from host , answered all questions straight away, sent us videos to explain short cut into town , where to dispose of rubbish etc , ordered taxi for us to take luggage to station, sent links to book beach club etc . A good little base to explore CT!

In the heat if you have a lot of luggage it’s a bit of a chore to get to ! Pack light. The front door key is a bit tricky at first. You have to turn and push door at same time.

Felt like home - even had a bottle of bubbles in the fridge to welcome us.

The location was perfect - close to the main area but a quiet location that felt like home. Dinner in the garden was a highlight.

Perfect beach stay

We loved how cosy the house felt as soon as we walked through the doors. Everything was provided for us. We even used the kitchen to cook a meal. It was exactly as described by Anne the host and recommended shortcuts to the beach and places to eat as well. We would definitely stay there again!

Quiet, comfortable and clean.

The house is located on a quiet street but just a very short walk to the main street and the beach. There are lots of restaurants and shops. When you go through the tunnel at the other end of the main street you arrive to another very lively area of restaurants and shops. The house is very well appointed and feels newly renovated. It’s small but was comfortable for the four of us. Our sons are 18 and 20 - one slept in the twin bedroom and the other on the sleeper sofa. We didn’t use the house for our meals but the kitchen appeared to have everything you would need. Anne was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect house, fantastic host, nice location

- Beautiful place 10 minutes walk from beach and downtown - Well furnished and equipped - Quiet location / green surroundings - Fantastic host that let us stay till 17:00 till our train would leave towards Milan

- Walking up the hill towards the house with luggage while not knowing yet the shortcut underneath the railway line (we did not read the instructions good enough... our fault) - Shortcut underneath the railway line is not a route you would take during night when arriving for the first time, exploring it during daylight hours is no problem.

Bon séjour chez Marty et Olly

La décoration de l’appartement était très jolie. Il est bien équipé en jolie vaisselle et tout ce qu’il faut. Monterrosso est un emplacement idéal pour profiter des 5 terres et de la plage. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse pour nos dîners le soir. Il est situé côté village nouveau.

Le salon est petit. Le prix est un peu élevé pour 40 m2. Nous étions 3 adultes, il ne faut pas être plus nombreux.
