Die Lage der Wohnung ist gut zu erreichen. Schöner Hof mit Blick auf das Meer vom Hof aus. Sehr gut vorbereitet zur Schlüsselübergabe und weitere Informationen zur Wohnung.

Die Wohnung ist etwas hellhörig, da Dachgeschoss-Wohnung ist die Lärmdämmung nicht gut. In der Nähe ist eine Gärtnerei, wo tagsüber mit Machienen gearbeiet wird. Die Dachschräge ist etwas niedrig, gerade für größeren Personen bleibt es nicht aus, dass man sich öfters anstößt. Zwischen Holzdecke und Dachziegeln läuft ein Tier oder mehrere herum, ob das tagsüber oder nachts ist. Das ist manchmal richtig spooky. Leider hat der Vermieter nicht auf unsere Nachricht reagiert, was wir sehr negativ sehen. Erst bei der Abfahrt wo wir ihn noch mal angeschrieben haben, hat er sich gemeldet, aber keine Hilfe oder Ursache angeboten und behauptet die Nachricht ist nicht angekommen!?! Aufgrund unserer Erfahrungen können wir leider nicht ein positiveres Fazig geben, besonders wenn ernsthafte Anliegen der Gäste nicht ernst genommen werden.

Ribeira Brava is almost always sunny compared to other cities in Madeira – a huge plus when it comes to the location. There’s always a guaranteed parking spot, all the facilities you need for cooking, and a lovely terrace to enjoy the ocean view and the beauty of Madeira. All our needs were taken care of very quickly by the host. Thank you as well for the lovely welcome gifts!💕

Nice quiet location about 10 mins out of Ribeira Brava and pleasant owner - bottle of wine and Madeira cake on arrival was via nice touch and we had been sent a detailed plan for things to do etc. nice terrace to sit out on in the evening. Also the house was fairly cheap for a week in the Easter holidays compared to other locations. Some issues that need addressing: Key is dodgy and doesn’t lock properly from the inside. Have to wiggle it about for ages to get it to lock which was take 5-10 mins and hurts the fingers! New key is needed. House is very dark overall and could do with shutters being fixed to open properly as it is a bit gloomy. Shower door needs fixing - gets stuck constantly. Only 1 good pillow in the entire place on the second bedroom - in the master they are extremely thin and difficult to sleep on. When it rains, there is an extremely loud and annoying drip which makes it impossible to sleep! Roosters start crowing about 3am sometimes (not owners fault but worth being aware if you are a light sleeper). Small ants everywhere which needs addressing - found on toothbrush and pillow one evening. Couch is very thin and uncomfy - so no place to sit in the evening, other than outside. One of the biggest drawbacks was the parking - have to reverse up a steep and ridiculous verge to get outside the house. If you are not a strong manoeuvrer or a nervous driver, this is not for you.
