A lovely place to spend a few days away.

The Nook is a lovely bungalow/cottage in the grounds of the host's house. Spacious, well furnished. Everything you need is there including Scrabble. Beautiful large garden. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Situated on the outside of the town which is only 20 mins walk away.

A gem of a find.

Wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful. Beautifully appointed accommodation with everything you could need and more Close to Stratford Race Course and near to the cycling Greenway . .Our bikes were kept securely, the pub is 1 minutes walk, the town 6 minutes drive. The garden is secluded and beautiful with the occasional visit from a super friendly dog. We look forward to returning.

Great property for a Stratford visit.

The Nook is a great property have as base for exploring the Stratford area. It’s a 25 minute walk into town and there’s a great bus service which we used several times. It’s a very well equipped, roomy extension to the owners house with views of the garden. There’s really nothing you could want for at The Nook, fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge, large sofa, modern Samsung TV, great bathroom with bath and separate electric shower, large bed (2 linked singles with mattress topper). If you need a dog or cat fix while you’re away, they are there too ( if you don’t, they won’t bother you). The owners greeted us on arrival, made it known that they are there to help, but we didn’t see them afterwards, so it felt as we were walking around our own gardens - it was really nice. The Nook (and the owners property) feel pretty secure as it’s set well back from the road and has electric gates enhancing that feeling. We visited Stratford a couple of times, very touristy as expected, but delightful nevertheless - took in a theatre show, a really good guided walk (Stratford Town Walk - thanks Grace), also The British Motor Museum -twice, which is superb. We found a lovely restart in nearby Henley in Arden, The Bluebell which we will visit again when we come back. Overall a great stay, plenty to do and a top class property and location to do so. Highly recommended.

Wi-fi coverage in the property (no signal in bedroom) and speed could be better. We found the 4G/5g on 02 isn’t great at the property.

Everything & more! Siobhan & Peter were more welcoming than could possibly have been expected or hoped for. Particularly flying the Aussie flag & transcribing the personalised welcome message on the board. Everything you could possibly want was there.

We'd highly recommend staying here. We'd definitely come back to stay.

The hosts were great, very personable and welcoming. They thought of all the details for a comfortable stay. The coffee pods, handmade brownies, milk and prosecco, soap and shampoo and the flying of our country and state flag was an extra bonus. The grounds were beautiful and park like. We enjoyed dinner in the gazebo one night.

The shower was pretty tight, but everything else was great.

Very comfortable and well equipped cottage near Anne Hathaway's house

The Nook is an extremely comfortable cottage - located in the owners garden, but not overlooked. It is approximately a mile flat walk from the center of Stratford upon Avon, through parks and streets The house was very well equipped and Siobhan was a very welcoming host providing many goodies for our arrival

Extractor fan in bathroom very noisy - but we forgot to mention it!

Perfect accommodation for a stay in Stratford

Perfect location and everything we needed for our stay. The little extras provided were a loverly touch. We were made to feel very welcome and the accommodation felt private and homely. Town was a short walk (about a mile) through a park and once parked up we were able to walk to and from the town centre with ease. Thank you for a perfect weekend stay.

I wish I could give more than 10/10. The description of The Nook does not do it justice. This place is stunningly beautiful. A large, space filled area full of all the comforts of home and the bed is huge. Absolutely amazing. The area is beautiful with the local pub a stones throw away. Town is around a 20 minute walk but there is a bus route at the the bottom of the road and a brilliant taxi network. Last but not least a huge thank you to Siobhan and Peter. Fantastic hosts and really nice people. They made our stay even better. Cannot recommend The Nook highly enough. If time allows we will definitely visit again.

Fabulous Cottage - already looking to return

This cottage was a wonderful find. The location was perfect, just a 20-minute walk through the park into the centre of Stratford. The cottage was tastefully decorated and well equipped. The bed was huge and comfortable, the view across the host's quiet garden was lovely, and the Prosecco and gorgeous homemade chocolate brownies on arrival were a real bonus. We met both Peter and Siobhan, the hosts who were friendly and charming.
