Quirky accomodation in a great location - if you fancy something unique it’s defo for you!

Brilliant little place close to Cribbs Causeway, there is a small spar shop a short walk away. The access system means you don’t need to bother the hosts unless you need something - they send you access details the morning of your stay. Also lots of cute features, the pub style is fully embraced but not overdone. Decent kitchenette with everything you would expect to find. Clean and warm on arrival (it was a very cold day). Parking right out front included and that is fantastic.

Nothing - it was all really great and a really great price for the location.

Fun as long as you are ok with a garage conversion

It is quirky, the pub theme is fun, loved the experience (dart board, large screen for watching movies). The kitchen area was great for what we needed, well equipped. The shower was also good despite being just a power shower. The poker set was incomplete so couldn’t use the massive poker table (which took up a lot of space)

The garage conversion was not immediately obvious. Lack of ventilation was an issue, we had to open the main door to get fresh air in even if the place had a glass door which was locked. Very cold floor, maybe some cheap single use slippers could help. We had to turn off the heating at night as it was too noisy so inevitably woke up to a cold room. We got out of bed after turning the A/C on to 22C for 20-30 mins.

Interesting mancave decor, but won’t stay again

The decor is interesting, man-cave vibes. Nice touch leaving tooth brushes for guests. Location is good for a shopping mall.

Hard to find it , especially if you travel at night time. It’s a converted garage in a private house. And it feels like that. The bar area doesn’t feel very clean. Missing extra blankets. The bed wasn’t very comfortable. I booked for 3 and only 2 towels were left. Room was very cold when we arrived, has eating but it takes a while to warm up.

Perfect authentic pub feel

Beautiful authentic pub feel and host was very helpful. Great location too! Very clean and felt very comfortable.... Quality of the furniture was clearly bought with the purpose of comfort rather which was delightful and completely felt at home

Not everyday you can have a few beers and sleep at the pub!!

The pics don't do it justice. Nice big TV to watch with a beer and probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The place was impeccably clean and definitely a fantastic novelty place to stay. Will definitely book again when I'm in the area.

Quirky place but needs some work done to improve.

Very quirky little place. Never stayed anywhere quite like it before. Had a friend over for dinner and we enjoyed the poker table to sit round with a pizza watching big screen tv. Host was speedy with email instructions etc and easy to follow directions.

Floors were filthy. Bare feet in shower were covered in hair. Had to keep something on feet at all times. The shower was just awful!! Made mistake of trying to wash my hair!! Scalding hot and absolutely freezing cold. Constantly had to move dial between 4-5 to be able to stick my head under for a few seconds each time before getting scalded or frozen!! Place smelt very damp, especially the compact bathroom. Was glad I had incense sticks with me!

We had the best overnight stay experience and possibly our best so far since travelling the UK.

We felt immediately at home, safe, comfortable to relax & unwind. The theme & design layout was exceptional & unique. We had fun playing darts. The kitchen facilities were fantastic. They thought of everything.

We suggest the host leave instructions how to work the shower. As international travellers, we found it difficult to navigate as we have a very simple 2 tap system (hot/Cold). Two guests had hot showers and 1 guest had cold despite using the same method. It may have been a simple case of the hot water system was depleted?

Quirky, comfortable and clean

The property was quirky and well done. Had lots of character. The beds were comfortable and had lots of entertainment if you wanted with a tv, dart board, poker table and kitchen for cooking. We stayed one night so didn’t use all the kitchen appliances but there was plenty there to use if needed. Towels were included. Bedding was clean. Bathroom was clean.

My only slight thing to grumble about was the toilet, the seat is slightly broken and I nearly slipped on to the floor!

Great place for a short stay

We really liked the decor, and the bed was very comfortable! It also had a fully equipped kitchen.

It only had blackout curtains over the sole source of daylight, so you could not have both daylight and privacy, nor could you open it for fresh air.

Very quirky, comfortable & relaxing. Every thing we needed for an overnight stay + much more.

The fact it was in the middle of a Housing Estate & that it was a Garage Conversion initially put us off but once inside we were taken aback. The Decor & extra facilities including comfy chairs & foot rest, large TV, Darts board, Poker Table provided an enjoyable & relaxing ambience. The bed was very comfortable. We were blown away with our overnight stay & would definitely stay here again when visiting Bristol.

A place to stay once in your life

How clean the room was along with providing anything you may have forgotten. Providing toothbrush and toothpaste brand new was a life saver. The amount of places to charge your electronics was amazing. Highly recommend if you are looking for something unique and really having someone take care of it.

How far out it was, the taxi driver had no clue where it was. I couldn't figure out how the disco balls worked. The only true complaint was how far out it, further then I thought and the taxi person just dropped me off and was like you can figure it out from here.

Unique stay in a converted garage.

Well thought out with lots of thought clearly gone into the layout. Beds were comfortable and lots of places to sit down. Especially enjoyed the sound system and the big table to play games on.

Could have benefited from having a bigger bin or more bin bags-we used what was available in one night! The walls need touching up with signs of damage from previous guests. Would have liked an instruction manual for some of the tech if at all possible-once we had worked things out it was great.

Great cosy little property which exceeded my expectations. It has everything you need for a night's stay, including tea, coffee, milk and even the basic toiletries. The property is in a great location and only a 5 minute drive from The Mall shopping centre.

Quirky studio

Excellent and quirky studio which was spotlessly clean and full of quirky items. The only issue we had was that my husband couldn't fit in the shower or close the bathroom door when using the toilet due to his size so would put us off staying more than one night
