I’d book again!

The proximity to the hospital and bus stop was really good. It was very spacious and so was good value for money.

The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable but this was minor compared to what I liked about the place.

The stay was good , great location, good neighbourhood but there was somthing very noisy on the ceiling that bothers us

1. The TV didn’t work. Replaced the batteries in the remote but still could get the TV to work despite several attempts to find a solution. 2. A few things could have done with a quick clean and some of the cushions were stained 3. The 10:00 checkout was unreasonable as couldn’t see why a five hour gap was needed between next check in

An intruder in the property

Someone entered the accommodation (a studio flat) when I was out. When I returned it seemed there had been an intruder and I was extremely disturbed. I sought alternative accommodation for that night. It turned out it was the property manager and an inspector. They broke the law by entering the property without informing me. This flat is in the hands of a letting agency which is very impersonal, inefficient and bombards you with multiple emails (many repeated) in addition to retaining 150GBP as a deposit from which they can deduct fines if you breach any of their rules regarding rubbish disposal, check-out times, etc. Seems the tenant has lots of obligations but no rights, not even the right to the safe space we pay for. Don't even think of staying anywhere managed by this agency, Hopewell.

Sleep deprived..very small bed , noisy but big place

Thé place was big and clean ...apart from the freezer which was full l of ice...literally

The bed for 2 people was ridiculously small ..it was impossible to be comfortable...why on earth put a bed with a width of approximately 1m20 ...when the is ample space for a bigger one The place was extremely noisy because of the constant traffic ..our apartment gave on to a busy road and even with Windows closed it was unbearable We were on top of everything woken up the second day at 4 o clock in the morning by 3 people who were trying to remember their code to get the key!! We stayed before in studio 2 and we had a much better time (not noisy and a big bed,)

Good loc as ton and spacious.

Everything I took out of the cupboards was dirty and had to be washed. There were no towels provided so I had to go and buy some. There was no “manual” with any information.

Convenient location and great price.

Location was great, access was easy, and the lockbox code was sent an hour before check-in.

My only minor gripe was that the shower drained very slowly, which meant I had to keep turning it off to let the water level in the tray fall.

We had a good stay, unfortunately let down by the above cleaning issues.

Great location with on street parking, suite was a good size with good appliances. Shower was powerful.

The front door requires a blind fitting as light beamed through early morning waking us up, also people could actually see into the room. Cleaning needs addressing throughout, dust all over lights, under cushions on sofa food debris noted. Drain smells, perhaps clean or add a deodorisers. Cups were dirty.

Economical, good location, poor cleanliness

Location and price were reasonable

The oven was really unclean. I used it to heat a meal. Due to the oven being covered in grease/fat, it really made the studio smell. The cutlery was covered in finger prints and any mugs or dishes used required cleaning before use. They weren't horrific, but it was that sort of standard a teenage lad might try to pass off as clean.

Memorable for all the wrong reasons.

the booking process, the communication, the bed, the fact that the door though frosted glass had no blind so the street light shone right on to the bed. The lock malfunctioned but the out of hours team were unable to help even though it meant the place being unlocked. They were altogether most unhelpful. What an unpleasant electronic world we have created instead of normal hospitality.

1500 m from our son and daughter in law 's flat

Noisy disruptive neighbours on 1st floor which woke us up with loud music in the early hours of Sunday morning. Television reception was extremely poor. Freeview channels were not obtainable. Phoned on Saturday morning but my complaint was dismissed as nothing they could do about.

nothing the property was fine. what I didn’t like though was the £150 deposit I had to pay for one night stay ? a bit excessive I thought. I did get it back but I felt it was unnecessarily high.

very frustrating

the decor was nice

1. I had to get moved to a different suit as the remote was not working in the suite that I was meant to stay in 2. when getting moved into the other suit the remote was still causing problems it was very frustrating for me to control the tv as I had to press the buttons multiple times for it to work 3. The front door was not secure even when locked and made me feel unsafe, due to the wind and the other residents coming in and out of the building the door kept moving and making noise. I had to put the chair in front the door to feel safer 4. I had to sleep in the front room as the heater in the bedroom was not working and the setting kept going back to the original temperature once I tried changing it. that goes for all the heating settings 5. For the light to stay on in the bathroom u have to continuously move otherwise it will turn off after about 5mins. I could not shower in peace as the light kept turning off and I had to keep opening the shower door for it to turn on as waving my hand did not work. 6. The fridge and the washing machine had a horrible smell 7. The tap was boiling hot and was hard to get warm water 8. Two of the light bulbs in the front room was not working

I did like the modern feel of the apartment

The internet and signal wasn’t very good in the apartment but that wasn’t too bad, there was someone else in the building having a little party which I didn’t mind I did speak to them and they quietened down enough for me and my girlfriend to sleep so wasn’t really an issue for me. The main issue was locating the keys for the apartment it did take me about 10 minutes to find the keys 😅 so maybe try putting a sign up showing future people where to locate the keys

there was a stench coming from the pipes on the first day of arrival. it continued for about 2 days. also, there was no hot water for one and a half days. the staff members however, were friendly.

Spacious. Good kitchen but some items filthy especially oven.

Bed was too soft. TV didn't work (was huge but didn't see the point in it being there if it didn't work). Shower dial didn't work on the bottom. Table too small. Overly expensive for what it was. Did not really look like some of the pics. Deposit could have been explained better and customer service could have been a bit better.

I had to cancle due to having covid, and the staff who “manage the property for the owner” were disrespectful, rude and don’t know how to speak to humans, especially those who are seriously I’ll.

Great potential, detail let it down.

Location was good for our needs, and overall the property was adequately equipped for what we needed.

There was really strong smell of drains in the hallway when we arrived, which was overpowering in our bathroom. it took several hours to clear the smell in our room even with the windows open and the shower running constantly for an hour or so. The oven was filthy and had no oven trays, so we couldn't use it throughout our stay, despite raising it as an issue with the mgt co on two separate occasions.

Plenty space.

Our first impression when we got there was the overbearing stench of sewerage which permeated through the property and mainly our flat, the stink was foul, it was there for the whole duration of our 4 day stay despite us being on the top floor. There was no hot water on the first couple of days, the water comes from one tank in a house converted to flats so we couldn’t get showered or wash (long) hair before leaving for work. The shower was filthy and the bathroom was grubby. We were there for 4 days, we stopped at a gorgeous services/farm shop in Gloucestershire, paid a fortune for very special food as we knew we had a kitchen and wanted to eat good food. The oven was disgustingly filthy and had no oven trays, we reported this to the agency staff who manage this apartment on the first day but nothing was done, (no oven trays brought to us) so we had to throw very expensive food away. Hopewell very keen at chasing us for deposits/bonds but not for sorting out issues. Altogether a very shoddy service and poor experience to be on the receiving end of.
