North Road Garden Apartment by N And N Stays Ltd, Close to vibrant Gloucester Rd with plenty of restaurants and shops near by, free on street parking

The apartment was a good size and comfortable. The shower in bath was really good. The bed was huge! The kitchen facilities worked well too.

These are minor points but possibly worth saying. Apart from these, we had a lovely stay and it worked out really well. When we arrived, the fridge had been switched off and I didn't notice until the morning when the ice had melted. I assumed the light just didn't work but the switch must have been turned off just before we checked in. In the morning I realised it was the switch on the wall controlled it and it worked really well after that. I would have liked a chair in the bedroom by the desk / dressing table. I moved one of the dining chairs in there to use as a workstation but it would have to be moved back to seat 4 at the dining table. Lastly, I decided not to park in the car park that is mentioned in the advert. This was due to the repeated signage next to every space saying it was a private car park belonging to the co-working space building and any parking overnight had to be booked by contacting the business operator. It served as a deterrent for me because I didn't want to risk getting a penalty charge when the signs clearly show it is private parking. There is available off-street parking along the road (it is not restricted) but it is a one-way street and a lot of cars are parked there regularly. It is free but you don't get a guaranteed space by parking on-street.
