The Old Wire Factory - 2 bed, Close to city centre, Fast wifi, comfortable home from home

Great place, great location. The host was very friendly and helpful. I travelled with my daughter, so we needed two bedrooms. Therefore, the property and it's location was ideal. We had a lovely time at Stonehenge, the Roman Baths and the Bristol guitar show. The area around the property was interesting.

The "devisive" lane markings on the Bristol roads - way out of sight until you can see them - made driving inside Bristol a nightmare.

Beds really comfy, nice and clean. Good location

Could do with champagne flutes and more wine glasses.

The bed was too soft for me, absolutely killed my back but I have a bad back…. all my friends loved it and was no problem for them. Wished there was a normal kettle.

Excellent location in terms of access to Bristol city centre, albeit not the best area. Easy check in. Clean airy apartment, ideal for a short stop. Good kitchen facilites. Great bathroom. Responsive host. Reasonable rental price.

On the Saturday evening, it was manic! Several street raves close by with people dancing and drinking at all the takeaways and pubs in the area. Apparently 'Turbo Island' (very close to the apartment is used for music/partying outside). It felt unsafe walking to the house. excessively loud music, huge numbers of rowdy drunks, people using the area around the flat as a toilet. It was an unusually warm night so maybe that exacerbated the enormous crowds of people. Music, shouting, etc, continued until 4 am + Beds are not great, thin and not very comfortable - ok for a short stay.
