Value for money, good location

Everything we needed, clean with comfortable beds, and lovely hot and powerful shower, Towels provided, good location with shop nearby, games and books for the children,

Nowhere to hang wet coats, Busy road with quite heavy traffic, The heating was uncontrollably hot, we were able to manually turn it down only for it to return to a set temperature of over 20 degrees within 15 minutes, even through the night! Radiators upstairs were far too hot and dangerous for young children

Very Homely, excellent location for bus routes to various places including supermarkets. Everything that you need to be able to have a relaxing chilled stay. Lovely quiet area.

Basic, functional accommodation in a convenient location for the purpose of our visit.

Location was ideal for us as we were visiting friends who live around the corner. We liked that it was walkable to the beach, and that we had off road parking for our car. An enclosed garden was really handy as we had our dog with us. The beds were comfortable.

Whilst the property was clean on a surface level, some aspects felt a little grubby, and there was a musty smell overall. For example, there were marks on some of the walls, a piece of burnt food on one of the lamps in the living room, only a single musty tea towel in the kitchen, we had to wash some of the kitchen utensils before using them and there were no dishcloths, only a single sponge/scourer and kitchen roll to wipe down the kitchen. There were no hand towels, no hairdryer, no mirrors in the bedrooms (as two female guests wanting to get ready in our rooms) and the sofa was uncomfortable to relax on. The shower head was loosely attached, therefore not staying in an angled position once water was flowing. Whilst it was handy to have the garden, it was unkempt - overgrown lawn, broken fence due to an apple tree next door and a huge number of fallen apples all over the garden. The outdoor furniture wasn’t inviting to sit on either - if it hadn’t been for us popping over to our friends each evening, I’m not sure we’d have wanted to sit out of an evening at the property.

Excellent holiday accommodation and will definitely stay there again if we are in that area!!

There wasn't a breakfast as it is completely self catering. This holiday home is one of the best we have stayed in. The rooms are a good size and the beds are really comfortable which was a real blessing after the busy days we had. The whole house was wonderfully clean something which is so important to us. The location was ideal and just a two minute drive away is a very large cemetery with large paths and walkways which we used early mornings for our first doggy walk. Our host was really lovely and friendly so a huge thank you goes to her.

Nothing but as others have stated, mirrors in the bedrooms would be ideal. Also, and just as an idea, coat hooks just inside the front door for those cold/rainy days rather than having to take them through the house? Luckily our weather was wonderful and sunny :))

Perfect place and beautiful decor.

Perfect place. Really modern and clean and staff were really helpful when we had a problem. Appreciated that’s it’s dog friendly too and liked the drive for parking.

A comfier couch would be nice but this is a small thing, it was lovely overall.
