A truly thoughtful stay at Quay Five on the Waterfront” We had a wonderful stay at Quay Five on the Waterfront in Knysna. The location right on the waterfront was perfect — beautiful views and an easy walk to restaurants and the lagoon. But what really made our stay memorable was the host’s thoughtfulness. From the little touches to the genuine care shown throughout our visit, it was clear they wanted us to feel completely at home. Every detail felt considered, and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-appointed, and the whole experience felt warm and personal rather than transactional.

The view was stunning! The apartment was cosy and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely double door fridge with an ice maker that was absolutely awesome. The apartment was well equipped and everything we needed was available. All amenities were close by and great restaurants in walking distance or by a very short drive.

The open plan shower was not the best. We personally didn't like it. The couch was a bit too soft and sunk in deeply. Just a suggestion: perhaps the tv would be better allocated on the opposite side of the wall to prevent the sunlight shining on it. P.S also place a scissors in the cutlery drawer. Other than that, all was good.

The location was beautiful amd the place was very need and the decor and furniture 😍
