I appreciate the need for a lockbox and this is going to sound pathetic... but when properties put their keys in lock boxes, if you have acrylic nail extensions, its so hard to get into the them. Nearly snaps your nails.
Bathroom door was getting stuck on bathroom floor
Fire doors, so you had to keep opening doors all the time.
No hand soap in bathrooms

The petrol station at the bottom of the road is massive with a butchers, bakery, ready meals etc etc so no need to bring own supplies
No recycling facilities, view of lake obscured by petrol station but it’s not the owners fault. The avenue is full of similar type housing they don’t look the prettiest from outside but the penthouse was well done and they have made the best of it they could

The property is extremely well placed for all the area in and around Bowness. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within a 5 minute walk. The Spar supermarket has a great selection of easy meals and is a 2 minute walk away.
Everything that we needed and more was provided so there was nothing to dislike.

The apartment was very well furnished and the decor was beautiful. There was plenty of space and the kitchen had everything anyone would need.
The bedrooms were very comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were lovely. We had 2 cars with us but this wasn't a problem as there was ample parking on the street for the 2nd car. 1 car has a reserved spot in front of the property.
The property was very well located for Bowness and the lake. Just a few minutes walk to the centre.
We had 2 dogs with us and it was safe for them because of the enclosed yard at the entrance.
Excellent communication with the owners leading up to our visit. Everything explained and easy information for getting the key. Overall it was excellent value for money.

Wow! Great location with 5 minute walk into Bowness and fantastic views from the lounge area. Really clean and decor finished to a high standard. It exceeded our expectations and more with the bonus of a car parking space. The owners could not have been more helpful and went over and above after issues with our car prior to arrival. Will definitely stay again. Thanks again Greg!

This property was absolutely stunning not only were the views amazing the location was spot on and the Penthouse itself was fabulous. It is decorated to a high standard, is super clean and has all the equipment needed. We ate out a lot but made a full English each morning with ease (we did bring our own air fryer but we didn't need it). The football table was a great little touch for the kids. There was a TV in each bedroom and the living room with plenty of Freeview channels, not that you need a telly in the Lake District! There is a balcony to take in those views in the nice weather and a lovely downstairs patio area too.
There is a reasonably priced spar across the road and it's just a 5 minute or less walk into Bowness.
The owners were lovely too and answered any questions we had before and during our stay, super quickly.
We would 100% return.

The accommodation was perfect. Renovated to a very high standard, spotlessly clean, and has absolutely everything you need. Location is perfect for exploring Lake Windermere. 5 minutes stroll into the centre of Bowness and stunning views of the lake. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.

It was in the perfect location 15 minute walk to the lake. A co op at the end of the road in the petrol station, a 10 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. The flat had everything you could possibly need for your stay, the beds were really comfortable and the shower was great. Good communication from the owners. A great holiday.
