We bought our own food and drink. The cottage had it's own small kitchen, with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, etc. The location felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, very quiet. A bonus if you like quiet.
The location felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, which is kinda nice. However, it meant that you definitely needed a car or to be driven there.
Although directions were given, there was no signage at all to even get to the Farmhouse you pass to get to the cottage. A sign of any kind would be very helpful.

VERY clean, everywhere was spotless and had everything you might want. The location was perfect with loads to do around the property including Coniston water and copper mine! The host was very welcoming.

Feeling of remoteness but only 10mins walk to pub or 10mins drive to others. Walking from the door into quiet area of the lakes.
