About this house rental
Perfect home for 3 hours from Twin Cities, this sanctuary is situated 45 minutes from Duluth and Bayfield. The home is set on a private acreage lot that perfectly combines privacy with the woods at the front of the property and stunning lake views from nearly every room in the house.
The home’s interior is furnished by owners with a truly exceptional eye for detail. You’ll fall in love with the quality of every aspect of your stay: from the luxe mattresses & bedding, to the well-stocked gourmet kitchen, to the artful furnishings & decor.
The great room which features a wood-burning fireplace and floor-to-ceiling views of the lake. The great room opens into the dining area and the kitchen. You’ll have more than enough space (and all the equipment) for feeding all of your guests.
Right off the dining area is the home’s deck overlooking the lake - perfect for an early morning coffee or glass of wine at the end of the day.
The main floor also features a four-season porch set up as a bedroom and a full bathroom.
The lower level was remodeled with a game room, big screen TV, large sectional sofa and custom shuffle board table, and as well as a bunk room all with beautiful lake views. It is furnished with designer furnishings. The lower level also features a new bathroom and laundry.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The main bedroom has fantastic lake views and has a comfortable king bed, small desk/sitting area, and an en suite bath.
The second bedroom has a queen bed, two twin beds, with a bathroom a short distance away.
The living room has a pullout sofa for two people.
There is a built wood burning sauna outside.

Gorgeous, well-appointed home with everything our family needed for a weeks stay. Check-in smooth, easy to access wi-fi, plenty of bedding & towels. Firewood provided for fire pit and sauna. Stunning views.

This is a truly gorgeous home, thoughtfully and beautifully designed and very comfortable and well-equipped! We loved the views of the lake and incredible sunsets! Kate and Kelly are wonderful hosts and provided excellent recommendations on everything from hiking and paddling, to shopping and restaurants which were really helpful for us since we were new to this area. We highly recommend this home and hope to return.

We booked this Lake Superior home for a small family celebration (8 people) to celebrate a milestone birthday for my mother-in-law. The property is amazing - in a beautiful setting on Lake Superior, with incredible views - and is close to many activities in nearby towns (Port Wing, Bayfield, etc.). The home has a great kitchen that is well-appointed with everything you will need for cooking. Beautiful living and dining room areas with full views of the Lake. Comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms. A lower level area w/ TV and shuffleboard is very nice, and there is a laundry room (with two washers and two dryers!) that is very convenient if needed. Communication with the host was seamless and efficient. There are several nice outdoor amenities, including a sauna and a fire pit area near the shore - they all looked nice but we did not use those during our stay as the weather was a bit warmer than normal. You will not be disappointed with this house - in fact, we already are planning when we can book another trip and reserve it again!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful, relaxing stay in this gorgeous home. It was exactly as described, however, the photos do not do this home the justice it deserves. The views of the lake are breathtaking and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was amazing. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay the best possible. Communication was top notch. We hope to return next summer!
