A lovely stay in a beautiful house in a quiet area.

It was a beautiful home with four double bedrooms, two en-suites, lovely bathroom, kitchen diner and living room. Toilet downstairs too! Nice garden although we didn’t use it as it was raining.

There wasn’t really anything. Maybe somewhere to hang coats downstairs and abit of storage or somewhere to hang clothes on hangers in the bedrooms (one bedroom had a lovely big wardrobe) We were staying there for a funeral in the area but we hung everything up in the one wardrobe.

Perfect for what we needed this weekend 😊

Travelling for a weekend with my grown up kids and their partners. Staying in a house rather than premier inn was better value and just an all round better option! Great location, home from home. And the Christmas tree was a lovely festive touch 🎄

Beautiful homely home. Modern and very Clean.

This property is stunning, spacious and clean. The renters have thought of everything and provide towels, bedding, hairdryer. Iron, cookware, even washing up liquid, there was even a basket of children's toys. The estate is quiet and for us the location was 10/10 The TV is huge with access to Sky which was lovely after a busy day. Both of the showers were massive with great water pressure. We are definitely going to rebook this amazing house.

The parking is round the side to the house be aware if you have lots of luggage and children etc... There is only 1 room with a wardrobe. Although it's big this could be an issue if a few adults are in their own rooms.

Family stay

Our second time staying here and just as lovely as before! The house was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. We loved the little touches, like the basket of biscuits on arrival. Such a welcoming place, we’d definitely book again!

It would be handy to have a few extra bin bags available.

Great house, everything we needed

The house was spacious, clean and a short drive to all the places we wanted to go to. We were in the area for a family christening and it exactly what we needed for our stay. Little touches like a treat basket and toys helped to make our family feel welcome. Very clean, well equipped, near to supermarkets and got a good takeaway delivered!

It could do with repainting but this didn’t bother us as we have four children!

The property was in an ideal location for our needs… the size of the rooms. Two onsuite bathrooms & a family bathroom idea for a family of seven or so we thought ….

Hate giving negative reviews but I was disappointed with this house & its cleanliness. When we arrived the key safe code didn’t work, I’d received two so we tried both, we then had to ring the host and received a third code which worked the code then came through on email at 2am (10hrs after). Not a good start when you’ve travelled 2hours. Then the smell of cannabis as you walked in through the front door, we spent all our time at the house with the windows and back door open . Spraying air fresheners The whole downstairs smelt of it. The bedrooms were a good size but beds were very low with soft mattresses & very discoloured pillow’s. Bedding on the beds was very untidy and very creased , the very strong smell of the fabric conditioned on the sheets very overpowering. Only one bedroom had a wardrobe .. Not being able to put the rubbish outside in the bins as these were overflowing with rubbish. The limited amount of dishes .. we were a group of 8 so struggled for plates etc .

Interior no longer looking 'Brand new'

Spacious bedrooms, lovely layout on new housing estate. Everything we needed was there

Was given the wrong key code & couldn't get in. Took till 10:30 that night to get a response from the owner, by which time we'd had to book into a hotel. He was most apologetic. Refund for 1 night was received, but wasted our whole evening. Walls need a wash as dirty marks all over the place. Also needs repainting. Maintenance required, French door handle broken, was on the outside of kitchen window. An upstairs window had screw missing from restricted.

We were delighted with the accommodation.

Breakfast wasn't requested although there were plenty of ingredients in the cupboards to make breakfast. I would recommend to take your own breakfast and dinner to cook as it is on a new housing estate where there are no shops. The kitchen has every facility to make whatever you fancy.

Bedding could have been ironed.

Convenient, lovely house but let down by communication and a few disappointing factors such as beds.

The house is lovely and I a great location

The dining room chairs are like school chairs and the beds are far too soft. We all woke with bad backs. It’s not particularly nice to have the washing from the previous occupants hung out in the garden upon arrival. Communication with the host wasn’t great, I called to ask a query and didn’t receive a response for over 2 hours despite him saying they would call me straight back.

Very amenable, brand new house. Very spacious home, kitchen appliances all worked as expected, shower gels and laundry tablets were provided, as well as some food and drink left over from previous guests, which was going the extra mile. Also, there was a good selection of children’s toys in the lounge area which was welcome for my kids. Also, the size of the TV was immense and my children thought they were at the cinema!

I had the wrong code for the key box when I arrived and the host didn’t answer the phone when I called twice, nor did he return my call after I found the correct code. The home was advertised to have air conditioning and it didn’t. I contacted the host about this and he arrived on our second day with three standing fans. A helpful solution, but not what we had expected when booking. As a family home with toys for children, I feel the host could go the extra mile and provide a high chair and fit stair gates in the property. In the same vein, the TV was freestanding, not wall mounted and it posed a huge risk of harm to small kids. Definitely should consider wall mounting. The home being so close to the lake meant when we left our windows open to cope with the heat, the house was FILLED with mosquitoes. Although this can’t be helped, it would’ve been nice to be warned about.

An OK solution, for your work in Peterborough

We went there with our colleagues, while we were working in the area. The house is located in a new development, quite cozy, very spacious, ample parking. Kitchen and various rooms were spacious and well equipped. There was the nice addition of the BBQ outside, which boosted the welcoming feel.

Some of the mattresses were very old and definitely need replacing. There was a double-booking and, all of a sudden, we had 4 builders barge into our living room. Everything was solved amicably, but not a totally smooth stay. Tons of insects at night, the area is more or less a swamp - it may be better in 5-8 years, but I wouldn't buy there.

Mix up with the locking box so we weren’t able to get straight into the property. This was resolved with the help of a neighbour. The kitchen wasn’t that well equipped to cook in.

Upon arrival it was apparent that there were problems with the property in that there was a very pungent smell of drugs in the property from the previous occupants. It had not been fully serviced as only some parts of the property had been cleaned, furniture was broken, the key safe was smashed and it was hard to extract the key without the chance of injury; the outside was unkempt, grass was long and litter strewn. Awful smell of damp upstairs too which we tracked down to a cupboard full of wet stinky towels and linen. The property is very shabby and unloved, and not how the pictures convey, which I assume had been taken when the house was first newly rented out. The house was clearly uninhabitable, particularly as we had my 90 year old mother with us who is an asthmatic and none of us wanted to stay in such a smelly drug-infused property. As a consequence, we were unable to stay at the property and had to find emergency alternative accommodation which was more expensive.

Large, modern property in a fab location and plenty of toiletries etc on hand. Really nice facilities and would definitely stay again!

None of this was really an issue for us but there was some rubbish on the floor in the garden, some laundry left in the washing machine and some new year party decorations around the living room. The bedding was also really strongly scented and floral which was a little unpleasant.

Perfect for a night or two

Spacious. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Ease of access and car parking.

No wardrobe space in 3 of the rooms - just a makeshift hook on the back of the door with a couple of hangers supplied. Very overlooked from every window so kept blinds shut and lights on.

Ok but too many spiders

Very spacious with large rooms & plenty of bathrooms.

It’s infested with spiders & big ones too!! Every single room had spiders in, the living room has a huge black spider running around, the bedroom had an even bigger one, the whole place has got loads of spiders, the host was unresponsive when I told him I couldn’t find the property, also didn’t respond to my query about a later checkout, the house is opposite a building site so you’ll be woken up by machinery early in the morning, also the yellow bedroom the shower is blocked and nearly flooded the bathroom.
