Unsafe, unresponsive, and not worth the risk — especially for families.

I stayed at this property with my child and had an extremely distressing experience. The room door locked automatically, and we were locked out at 1:00am. There was no spare key on-site, no staff or emergency assistance available, and we were completely stranded at night with a child — exhausted, stressed, and vulnerable. This situation posed a serious safety risk and showed a complete lack of basic guest care. I raised the issue and eventually received a partial refund, but it fell far short of what was appropriate given how severe the incident was. I do not recommend this property, especially to families or anyone expecting a safe, responsive, and properly managed place to stay.

Managed to relax, rest and have a good retreat from the usual.

Place was clean, spacious and with tv in bedrooms.

Not much space for lounging. Would be nice if there is space to relax and maybe watch tv with family however the kids opted instead to watch tv by themselves in the bedrooms because the spaces didn't allow for family time.

Generally good but uncomfortable or broken beds meant poor sleep. Suggest replace with Hypnos beds like premier inns. It

5 bedroomed 3 bathroomed property. The lounge had been made into a bedroom. We were a party of 6 adults. It was modern, clean and suited our needs. TVs in every room. The bedrooms were spacious with good storage in each room. Parking for our three cars was ok. One on the drive and two on the road. It faced a park. It was walking distance to shops and the excellent Gurkha Lounge restaurant.

One of the beds (rm 5)had broken slats found the evening of arrival and notified early next morning. Had to sleep feet to footboard but still very uncomfortable. Complaints from two friends that their beds were very uncomfortable (rooms 1&2). Time to replace them. The kitchen diner was the only space to congregate which had just a two seater sofa and the other four sat around the dining table.

Student accommodation, dity old mattresses and poor diy

The area was lovely and actually quite quiet

Let’s from top of property DIY projects go wrong. Pillows weren’t great either. Mattresses were disgusting with a topper on top which made no difference. I woke up in such pain that we didn’t stay a following night but went elsewhere. Door’s don’t close properly as all broken. Yale locks on doors that kids can get locked in and cause fire issues. Laminate edging broke on middle floor. Peoples shower and bath empty bottles left in bathroom. The patio doors have dropped. The garden was disgraceful. Broken decking boards, uneven, decking parts of wood left. Broken fences. No table and chairs to sit on. Not that you would have your kids out there.

convenient but poor quality beds and ill equipped kitchen

the rooms that could fit double beds in had double beds. tv in each room warm quiet residential location. off street parking for one car.

beds very uncomfortable- poor quality mattresses with a foam top. we put continence pads under bottom sheets for accidents with children- at least one divan had no proper base- just the fabric. no toaster. no baking trays. non plug or bowl for kitchen sink so washing up tricky. dining room table only had 4 chairs yet property sleeps 9. front top bedroom the radiator couldn’t be switched off and the windows couldn’t be opened either- uncomfortably warm to sleep. main bathroom- shower bracket broken so could only use as hand held hot water dangerously hot.

8 family members stayed over the Christmas period and we had a fantastic time. the dining table seats 6 but all 8 of us

it is definitely a home from home very clean and spacious and comfortable.
