Mahesh and his family were such a great hosts! The room was exceptional and very private with ac and a fan, private rooftop and a bathroom They host us for local breakfast, and gave us tea everyday We gad a great time in mahesh place!
The location is great but you will need to rent a scooter Ask mahesh for a help!

Even though I had provided my flight arrival time in advance, when I arrived at the hotel there was no one there, so I had to wait. The air conditioning is positioned directly above the bed, so the air blows straight onto you, which I found uncomfortable. When I turned on the fan, it was extremely noisy and I couldn’t sleep. There is also no mosquito net, which I consider a must-have in Sri Lanka. Overall, unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
