VS BeachSide Resort

Very clean. Good staff. Pretty comfortable bed. Loads common areas, considering the hotel is only a handful of rooms. There is a table, chairs and sofas on the middle floor. Our room was on the top floor and opened out onto the rooftop which also had a table and chairs.

The curtains are really thin, so at night the room isn’t very dark due to the bright streetlights. Also in the morning as soon as the sun comes up the room is so bright. This is a new property and this is an easy fix though

Good points: - Clean rooms: The rooms are small, but the common areas on both floors are very big. - Good sleep: The bed and the pillow were very comfortable.

Points to improve: -Check-in messages: The owner asked many times what time we would arrive. We told him we were coming by bus and did not know the exact time. He kept sending the same question. It was too much and not very friendly. -Extra money: Booking.com said $35 total. But at the hostel, we had to pay $38. Also, if you want air conditioning, you must pay $3 extra per day. This was not clear. The hostel could better indicate this clearly on its page. -No kitchen or fridge: The photos show a kitchen, but there is no kitchen (the owner said it was broken). There is also no fridge for the guests in the common areas. -Noise: During our stay, There were builders working in the morning. They used hammers on the walls early in the morning, so we could not sleep or rest. -Wi-Fi: The internet is sometimes stops working. Owner? A hostel should have stable internet.

Muy bien situado, limpio, cuidado y con muy buena atención personal. Es un sitio económico y tiene muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Clean apartment, easy to find and good communication with the host. He was super friendly and always replied within minutes. Helped us finding a very cheap Tuktuk and served us tea and coffee for free :)
